A friend got DM from one week ago and no PPR letter till now, is it a concerning situation? Why it takes too much time to issue this letter?

In same boat with same timeline. It’s frustrating because people who applied after us are getting their too. I am jealous from TR to PR candidates also because they even didn’t know all about this struggle like first waiting to complete working time then PNP now Pr ones. I think all of us need to write to ircc about our situation because we also worked in corona.
You are right they dont f$cking care for Paper based applications!! We must raise our voice!! I am july 2020 AR candidate i passed medicals, i provide 3 pcc’s everything with accuracy but still no updates!! People applied in august started getting DM’s!! I worked like a hell during pandemic and i dont even know where my application is lagging!!! Its really heart breaking

Received Portal email and DM on Ecas. May I ask the following questions:
1. What is the original date of entry?
I used to visit Canada when I was young, is it count as original date of entry? Or it’s the date when I first hold the study permit to study in Canada?

2. Location (port of entry): if it was Vancouver. I will just need to answer officers questions by telling him or her it was Vancouver airport (YVR). Is that correct?

Please and thank you.
Hopefully everyone will hear the good news soon.

Congrats. Yes! You need to give the date on which you entered Canada for the first time and location (City, Airport) stamped by CBSA on your passport.

Thank you very much for replying.
Sorry I just would like to confirm. So in my case I will provide the date of myself entering Canada for visiting when I was young?

Please and thank you.
Have a great day.
