Contacted IRCC over the phone about 4 times, raised about a couple of web forms. Most of the replies were generic. Contacted Mr. Goodale's office too.
Since the cut off of 6 months have been passed, it's just a matter of someone picking up your file. I think my file was picked up due to a Web form I raised on 01.08.2019 or as I submitted an affidavit for POF (Without a request) on 28.08.2019.

Before getting the ppr, I had two ghost updates. With the final one on 06.09.2019, review of additional documents changed to not applicable and status of biometrics changed to completed. Even though I have submitted biometrics in March 2019, the stays was "We have not received your fingerprints "
I wish you all a very speedy PPR. Thank you for creating such wonderful platform.

Hi guys! I have one question. My case timeline is currently 227 days and I am still waiting for my PPR. I will be moving out of my current address at the end of this month. I am hoping I receive my PPR before that, but knowing how things have worked so far I am a little skeptical about that.

So, I am gonna raise a webform to inform IRCC about my address change. Do you guys think this can further delay my timeline? Appreciate your suggestions. Thanks!

Swept away at last. We submitted what we thought were perfectly prepared applications of January 17, 2019. We had hired a consultancy to review our documents and represent us. Resigned from my then job and took up a new job in a new country after this. I was hoping to resign while in probation and move to Canada for good in a few months. But destiny had different plans. :)
We never called IRCC. Raised a CSE after the much hyped “6 months” were over and were told that additional verifications are under way. Also, had mailed Ralph around the same time and was told that Criminality is cleared, rest nothing had started. All this made us anxious and we ordered GCMS. Few weeks later, PPR email beat the GCMS notes.
We were sort of kicked out of the United States in July 2017 for no real reason (well my H1 amendment was randomly denied after a buffoon took charge in the Oval Office) after ~5 years of glory. We had invested our everything in building a future in the USofA. At 4 am on July 14, 2017, me and my wife along with our 3 year old daughter were going hotel to hotel in Mumbai’s Andheri looking for a shelter in the rainy season and to rest after 24 hours of airplane on us. I had 9 large suitcases and cabin bags. Another 10 boxes were on a ship only to arrive largely damaged a month later. We braved it, moved into a hotel, then to a distant acquaintance’s apartment, then to a night in the train, then to a fungus infected guest house over the next one month to finally find solace in Bangalore, India in an apartment owned by an ISRO director. He told us that god will shower his love on us in his apartment. :)
6 months later, I had a long term Swedish work permit from my employer for my then current project, an offer to return to the US to lead a major account, an offer from a top bank in the UAE and an ITA for applying for Canadian Permanent Residency. We had made our choice. We were going to contribute to the society that is welcoming us with open arms.
The long wait after the AoR did play on our nerves a bit but one thing was always clear to us that it’s going to be Canada. The forums and WhatsApp groups gave equal amount of anxiety and comfort. But I reckon that they can be helpful for applicants preparing documentation on their own.

Many thanks to everyone for sticking around and supporting. Special mentions to @PrasadK @rushi.gada.
I pray and I am super confident that all of you will be swept away soon.
All the very best friends!

Will get started with the planning now. Time to go and live the next chapter of our lives to the fullest

Signing off for now

Hey Trumped2018, happy for you.
I have been in the same boat since end of 2017. So I can totally relate to what you have been through. I got a chance to move to Canada on intercompany work permit after I got trumped. I immediately felt a difference in cultures between US and Canada. Canada indeed seems a more welcoming community.

Guys, one question (or just a reassurance may be :) )
My profile was updated on 5th Sept . Last update was way back in March for MEP. Last week, Biometric status finally was updated as Complete.
Then today the profile was updated requesting additional document. In our case, original payment included biometric fees only for primary applicant. For spouse, no biometric fees were collected. However the letters for biometric collection were issued to both and we submitted our biometrics in March. Today CIC asked to pay biometric fees for the spouse and upload payment receipt. We promptly paid it and submitted the receipt through myCIC profile.

I don't think these system updates. Someone seems to have updated our profile and requested this payment after going through details. What do you think?

I hope this continues in positive direction.

Ready for visa!!!
I've received my PPR e-mail at 10:30 PM (eastern daylight time), which came as a huge surprise since it's so late. It's been a long, torturous wait but it's finally over for us!

Some details of our stream:
FSW - Outland (from Brazil)
Me as primary applicant, wife as dependent.
VO - Ottawa

AOR - Jan 25th
MEP - March 7th
Biometrics enrolment - March 29th
...Long waiting period...
Ghost update - September 6th
PPR - September 9th
227 days total

Thank you all for the info and support in this forum. You've made the wait a little more bearable.
Good luck to everyone and see you in Canada soon!

Hello @cansha @legalfalcon @rushi.gada @vinayk....

Hope you guys are doing ok.

Need your help on the below concern.

Apparently with the news that we wont be able to call the call center agents from next week I called CIC today and unfortunately this was the first time ever in these 7 months I cam across a very weird agent named SWALLIONE or something I am sure I have misspelled that.

He started threatening me saying I have called so many times till date plus have involved local MP, there seems to be a problem with my file and started scaring me saying should I report this?

To which I replied no its ok please dont. I called as have passed 7 months. Then after scaring me to extreme he told me the status saying Eligibility is under review which was surprisinng as when I called last Friday it was in que for review by an officer.

Also started asking am I sure I was eligible for express entry coz it doesn’t seem so. Also said there is some problem with my file do you want me to report or to get the answer hire a immigration lawyer.

Then I realised that he is just scaring me and nothing else as he seemed frustrated with me calling in and asking the status.

The concern is can he do anything wrong to my file as previous agent I spoke they told me I can call anytime and check the status.

This guy said now to call directly in Feb 2020.

Have any of you come across such weird agent!

I would appreciate your reply on this.

Thanks!
