When I sent application recently through Purolator, I did not request for signature, however when I checked status using online tracking system, it was mentioned that document received by Danny so yes I believe there would not be any drop box.

ok, well I guess its not so important then, but I would rather not have a sign up feature too. IM sure there are certain secure drop off units at CIC Sydney, so a signature or no signature , it doesn't matter, it will arrive there eventually. With all the recent bad weather and considering how incredibly far Syndey is from Calgary, Priority mail or Xpresspost would serve me better.

Hi everyone,

As I planned to do with the Will of God, I have sent my application January 22, with Xpresspost and signature.
It will be delivered on January 28.

- Application for me and my son
- 1100 days of physical presence
- Joined my Certificate of Work for the 4 years period

With information sharing on this forum, I think that my application is duly completed.
I hope that Oath will take place on November with the God's will.

Just sent my application january 24th, and it reached Sydney this morning (January 28th) with 1099 days. However, I ve been a RP since 2007, and I was ready to apply March 7th but I didn't take it seriously and I thought that if you finish you're done but I was wrong. . Anyways wish u all of you guys luck.

ps: There is someone who applied in July 2013 and got his Oath date scheduled for february 2014 ( 7months ) things are changing positively hopefully.

The 7 months is for the applicant from Montreal. It really depends on where your local office is. Quebec and Ontario are quick right now (for new applicants).

Hello,

My citizenship application reached Sydney, NS on the 28th of January, 2014.

I applied with 1099 days of physical presence in Canada, with 1183 days of basic residence.

I applied from the province of Ontario. I wish you all very best of luck.

I have the same question. My application was received couple of weeks ago as per courier company but right now it is not appearing on ECAS
