IQAS ECA Assessment

Hello,
I called IQAS yesterday 13th OCT. The lady on the phone told me that they are currently processing applications received on 11th September. Its going to take ages to get the evaluation. IQAS really needs to speed up things on their side. Make use of technology and make their lives easier. Disappointed.

I think we got successful ECA from IQAS back to back. I saw you on immitracker too. Good luck for future processing. When are you expecting next draw to take place and what score?

Thank you, suresh. Best of luck to you as well. Next draw is expected on 18th October .. not an expert but my wild guess is CRS 435 +/-4 ... I'm at 476 so expecting an ITA in next draw.. *finger crossed*

Helo All

I was reading some recent pages of this forum to have better understanding of IQAS. Please help me with my 2 queries :
1) Does anyone have an experience,wherein their degrees/ qualification got rejected by WES but it got recognized by IQAS?
2) I did my masters in international business from symbiosis pune in 2004. it didn't get recognized by WES. any idea with anyone here who faced similar fate and then got it recognized from IQAS??

please suggest as i dont want to waste my money if this is not going to work...

Hi all, this is for everyone's reference. 2 days ago I finally got my ECA Email.from IQAS. Following is my timeline:

Documents Dispatched from Lahore : 31-July-2017
Documents Delivered: 02-Aug-2017
AOR IQAS: 25-Aug-2017
ECA Signed: 17 Sep 2017
ECA Emailed: 13-Oct-2017
Hard Copy : Still Waiting (But who cares!! I already have the ECA in my E-Mail)

Pakistani Degrees:-

1. Bachelor of Science (Honors) 4 Years Undergraduate Program
2. Master of Business Administration 2 Years Graduate Degree Program

Outcome :-

1. The Bachelor of Science degree generally compares to a 4 years Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Canada
2. The Master of Business Administration degree generally compares to the Completion of Masters of Business Administration

Hi,How many days IQAS normally takes to send confirmation e-main of receiving my documents?My documents were delivered via DHL to IQAS on 11/10/2017 but i have not got the confirnation mail yet from them.Can anyone share his/her experience?

Hi friends,
I have a doubt in STEP 5..that is the payment calculation in IQAS application form. I need ECA from IQAS for immigration to canada so i require a specialised asessment of $200 right?I have a Bsc degree and and MBA degree to be assessed. I am under the impression that it is covered under $200.
what is the answer to: how many additional degrees/credential to be asessed? ____________(Qty* $75)?
+the courier fees for returning documents back to india is stated as $45. So totally i should be paying only $245 or more?Those who are done with the process please guide.

I got my ECA yesterday on 18-Oct-2017. (Soft copy via email) I have applied through IQAS approved CIC Canada ECA Evaulation body. Following is the timeline and the Result:-

Documents Dispatched from Lahore : 03-Aug. 2017
Documents Delivered: 08-Aug-2017
AOR IQAS: 24-Aug-2017 (First email)
AOR IQAS second confirmation of Education documents 08-Sep. 2017 (second email)
ECA Signed: 29- Sep-2017
ECA Email received: 18-Oct-2017
Hard Copy : Still Waiting

1. Bachelor of Science 2 Years Undergraduate Program
2. Master of Science 2 Years post Graduate Degree Program

Outcome :-

Mine got there 10-11th September. Only got 1st email on 16th October. Still to get second.

Helo all

I checked with my college. They refused to courier any documents directly to IQAS. Moreover it looks like that if i push them too much to do so , they may just do it at their ease as and when they feel like doing.
Can I get sealed envelope and send it to IQAS directly , Like in case of WES?? Has anyone tried this way??

Yes, I sent my sealed envelope with application package and wrote a note in additional information explaining why I had done so...I got my evaluation without any issues..
