They do not count unpaid work (some internships are not paid). They do not count work that was performed while you were a student, whether co-op work assigments that are considered part of your education (some people use the term "internship" here), or "summer internships" before graduation. The problem is that people use the word "internship" to mean different things.Thank you for your reply.
I just overheard that they don't count internship under CEC.
The criteria are very clear - if the work is skilled, if it is authorized, if it paid, and it is not gained under a study permit, then it is eligible. Does not matter if you are called an intern.
