Hi All, I completed a 12-month full time internship in India during my engineering
8,000 INR/month, paid in cash (I have paystubs and a CA certificate).
It was a mandatory "Industrial Training" for my B.E. degree. I do have a letter from university that confirms my internship duration and that I was engaged in a paid internship and it was a part of my degree.
My questions for the group:
Has anyone successfully claimed points for a mandatory foreign internship while they were a student? Thanks!

My questions for the group:
- I’ve read conflicting things online. Since it was mandatory for my degree but paid and full-time, does it definitely count for Foreign Work Experience points under CEC? (I know it wouldn't count if it were in Canada, but this was in India).
- I didn’t declare this internship on my initial Study Permit/PGWP applications because I thought academic training didn't count as "work." How risky is it to declare it now for PR points? And what additional documents other than reference letter, payslips and CA certificate do I need?
Has anyone successfully claimed points for a mandatory foreign internship while they were a student? Thanks!
