I would like to let you know, since it seems like you guys were having a discussion earlier about it, that I did not electronically sign my IMM 5669. I had only printed and hand signed it. However, I still recieved AOR. I think that the written signature takes priority over the typed one. However, I would advise to just e sign and hand sign it together, and not take the risk that I did.

For every form that asks for a handwritten signature, I signed. I signed next to every electronic signature too. It not wrong to do so, it will actually cover your tail.

Also how is everyone from the end of december getting work permit updates already and my app was received the 14th? Its linked too

Have been thinking the same, my application is December 10th, linked too?!
Still haven’t had Medical Request, but I do wonder what order they are working in processing applications... Must be just down to the case managers...

That's so strange. Medical request I got a few days after linking my PR. I have passed my medical too.

It's weird my OWP app says received dec 7th when my PR/OWP app delivered the 14th.

Were you on a valid work permit when you applied? If so, I think they are explaining they extended the current work permit instead of issuing a new one.

When did you send your apps?

Interesting. Well congrats on the OWP. Im not sure what it means on your letter. As long as you follow the rules on it/ restrictions then you're okay

It’s so strange, I noticed nearly everyone from Dec has had there medical requests. But when I called IRCC she just said there is no specific time for them to request Medical...
My OWP says the same, received Dec 3rd but it was received with my PR app on Dec 10th, so not sure why that is!

Yes I've also seen that MR doesn't really signify status of the application as it can be done before AIP instead of being the first thing to do. At least you got confirmation that it's normal. Did you ask about the work permit

Similar thing happened to me with regard to the OWP, but with the November applicants (I was a late October applicant). Then exactly 4 months to the day my PR and OWP apps were received, my OWP was approved. It's as if someone noticed my app had been sitting there long enough!

As for the earlier reception date for the OWP app - that's normal. They always list an earlier date. That said, don't count down the 3/4 months from that earlier date; instead, count down from the actual reception date. It's the one that actually matters.

Hope this bit of info helps.
