Maybe send them a webform with average 6 month account balance and when the account was opened?
I'm also considering to submit this additional document, but not sure if it's necessary because they are not requesting.

I encountered a similar situation with my file back in May 2021. I was flagged review required because they have concern of my overseas address and mentioned that no overseas police certificates were provided ( I didn't need to per their rules) so I called in to ask if I should send my po-certs in, the agent contacted a case specialist and the answer I got was no I did not need to do anything unless they ask me to.
But I didn't listen, sent in the files anyways thinking it would speed up the process but IMO it actually delayed the process even more. After I submitted the docs via webform in May, they sent email saying they forwarded them to the agents in charge in June, and agent took a look at it in July after I asked my MP to get involved. And then they updated my portal in end of August saying they are reviewing the additional documents that I have provided. Thinking back.... if these were not required documents. They should either verify these info base on my other provided documents or do their own research, or they could just reach out to me.
Please take advice from your lawyer. I won't make any rash decisions regarding my file without my laywer again.

What have you tried so far? Have you pressed the agents to give you status update? Have you contacted your MP?
Congratulations! Jan 2021 same VO but no update yet. Last week of August IRCC asked both of us to submit CV, which was done immediately thereafter no updates yet.
