There are still 20K spots left in New Pathway! Should I apply through new stream since there is no movement on my EE-PNP application. Its only 4 documents to fill ! Any suggestions?

Go for it! I just did.

For your money's sake, they are going to process around a half of the total new pathway applications in 2021.

Saw a timeline in another forum.
Manitoba PNP EE
1.14.2021 AOR
1.19.2021 BIO
3.26.2021 Medical passed
1.19.2021 Background check completed
4.21.2021 Eligibility passed
4.21.2021 CoPR

I am guessing it's either coz this file was processed in Vancouver or that lately they try to process 2021 AOR peeps first??
I'm under MPNP too and my AOR is 3 months early than him. WTF

Hello all,

Has any inland applicant received a refund regarding his/her application?

I read that the biometrics fees, if already provided, were going to be paid back, but I am not so sure of the amount, or if there is another concept that they will be paying back.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

So I heard Immigration minister saying "New pathway will be faster, we have hired more people". To me it looks like they didn't hire more people they just shifted PNP staff to new pathway. No wonder why PNP applications are in dumpster.
Also after finding out that it will be faster, I regret not applying under new pathway. My Police Certificate is expired :/ .

Yeah so we provided bio from previous work permit / visa permit etc. When they announced that those bio can be carried over to PR application we got a refund on my method of payment. Top of my head id say for both of us was 170 bucks ish.

Otherwise... When we got rejected last year in may due to incomplete docs. They refunded full amount of application fee and bio fee.

They can't use covid as an excuse for delay anymore soon because vaccination rate is going up. For a lot of us whose file is in Nova Scotia, vaccination rate is around 21%. Let's see what they come up within a month or two.

Nova Scotia was never effected much by covid unlike other provinces. Yet files in Novo Scotia office are not being processed at all. Specially EE-PNP (Inland). So I don't think they would stop using covid as excuses until 2022 or best case would be late 2021 September, that is when they would resume the process.

Re Nova Scotia, my sister is now Canadian citizen and then she changed her last name to her husband’s so she had to request a new Citizenship paper. While the process to confirm and approve her new name was less than a month, it took Nova Scotia office 14 months to just print and send my sister a new Citizenship Certificate.

Can you kindly share a link by which we can apply?
Its too late! Most of your documents like Police Certificate might be expired. I was about to submit my application in this new stream but later realized my police certificate was only valid for 3 months.

Here is the link tho - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...s-and-international-graduates-of-a-canad.html

Barely 50 spots are left - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.../services/immigrate-canada/tr-pr-pathway.html
