IELTS Request
Sent with Application
I sent my application pack on 17th August 2010. I got an intimation saying that it was delivered on 3rd september 2010 to the sydney office. I wrote to them last week with all my details and they tell me that have not received my application at all. Kindly advice me as to the next step or action. Much appreciated. Many thanks in advance

Hi
You can track the package and get the report and attach it to the mail to them.

Hi Billy: It sounds like you may have joined a growing number whose applications have been lost. Have you had proof of fees being cashed yet? Call CIO again and ask for information. Have all your receipt details available. IF CIO says they have lost your application ask their advice what you should do. They keep a list of all returned applications, so ask them to check that. Some people have not had their packages back for 3 months from the date of return. Get the name and ID number of the person. They will probably tell you you have to reapply. If your app has been lost, ask if you can send copies of IELTS and reference letters. Send identical copy of your first application with cover letter outlining advice and name of person at CIO as well as copy of your delivery receipt. DO TRY TO GET as many original ref letters as you can. Apparently, IELTS will send another original if you request it to be sent to a business address (do you know someone it could be sent to as they will not send it to a residence.) I hope all will turn out OK with your second call to CIO. I will be interested to hear how you get on. (We were in the same boat as our friend's app was lost by CIO and he had to reapply.) Good Luck.

hmm......Makes me wonder whether we are dealing with a 3rd world country in a 1st world country disguise!!

write a letter to your CIC explaining that u have already sent it on ... Date, received by ... On ... Date. Attach the following:
A. Courier Consignee copy
B. Courier Tracking Report (Print it from the website)

That should work.

well one possibility would be that they have not yet open your application package and it is still not yet delivered to IOs for eligibility review by receiving dept. once the IO receive your application and started processing it only then they will be able to tell you about the fate of your documents. but still first contact your delivery company and conduct inquiry with them and after getting confirmation from them call CIC helpline and talk to them.

Hi BillyG,

You need to have your shipment tracking no. to prove yourself that documents has delivered to concerned person.

The tracking shipment details, shows that who had received the documents and what time.

When call them, tell them that you have shipment tracking no. & DD is encashed (if any) on so n so date.

You can prove yourself and send email to london office also.

Regards
Cool

If you sent by courier like: TNT, DHL.... it will have tracking number so you can check time & who received it. If it delivery already you can aslo mail for asking person who recevied.

Check if your DD has being encased or Credit card has being charged...

I faced the same problem, in my case, they never agreed that they have recd my file in spite of showing proof of delivery....i tried to convince them for almost 6 month but all in-vain....i had to sent them the new document set......
