How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Dear all, I have a question: I just received my PPR; I had also applied for US visitors visa for a one week visit; do you know if I land before going to US my US visa will be expired or not?

Another Q: how long does it take for CIC to issue visa after passport receipt?

In regards to your second question there, that is what we are all trying to figure out

Day 15 for me with no tracker activated yet.

Day 16 and no activation yet. Isn't it an awful thing when you click the Canada post "Track" button and it says " We could not find this Tracking Number in our system."

My friends pp received on Aug 28th n it took exactly 11 working days. Probly they might have more passports and they ship once in a week like 50 pp at a time. its my guess though

16 days of reaching Passport and yet no sign of COPR.
GOD please give us strength to wait for end of wait.

My co-workers who also applied for PR under BC PNP, sent their passorts August 26, 2013 and they got it back (both of them) on September 11, 2013.. So that was only 16days!

Hope this helps! Some are lucky. It probably depends on the immigration staff taking care of your application, on how quick he or she is in processing it.

Just my opinion though..

I am new to this forum. I received PPR on Aug 27 and my passport was delivered to Ottawa on Aug 30th.

I am still waiting for my pp to get back. Return tracker hasn't been activated yet.

Anyone else in same situation or any suggestion why is it taking so long.?? as I m to worried now.

My xpresspost was recieved by D. Vinette too. Are they making bunch or piles of our PPs. I didn't expect this one.

its 20th day after my pp was delivered. I sent an email to Ottawa and they are saying that they are still waiting for my passport. They also wrote possibility my passport is still in mail or might have arrived at their office but has been associated to my file.

I dont know what to do now?? :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

The office received my PP on Aug 26th, it has already been 25 days for me. I guess all we can do is to wait.

Hi All,

I also had send my passports to CPP-O office on 22nd August 2013 and I tracked it that it was signed for on 23rd August 2013. So far the return tracking number is inactive. It is day 29 for me today and I have no clue as to whats happening.

Starting to get worried now as it is to do with Passports !! Send them couple of emails but got no response form them.

Guess just have to wait but the question is how long ??

PS: the email reply I got from them was sent at 8:42pm Mountain time. Which means 10:42pm Eastern. Does this mean they have round the clock shifts working?

I sent the email to ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca at about 4:30pm mountain time and got a response at 8:42pm mountain time, same day. I may have been lucky in the timing of it.
