How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Hi All !!

I had stepped out from my work and had gone home to have lunch...just before leaving home to get back to work I thought will check my mailbox and what I found has made my day...I got mine and my families Passports along with the CoPR for everyone via regular mail directly from the CPP-Ottawa Office in a packet. Have checked to make sure everyone's names are spelled correctly. As a matter of fact, My visa's were stamped on 12th September and it took 10 good days to come to me via regular mail.

I am very happy and pray god that everyone get their PP's very soon.

Everyone: Your Passports must be on the way...you will definitely get your passports this week if you had submitted them in the mid or last week of August. Be a little more patient, having said that I know it is a difficult situation but we just have to wait that little more.

All the best to everyone waiting. I am confident everyone will make it soon.

Congrats dude. Are you in USA? I am asking because of the fact that CPP-O sent to you in a regular mail. When was your passport received at CPP-O?

Yes, I am in USA. My Passport was recieved at CPP-Ottawa on 23rd August 2013. Took almost a month along with shipping time to send the passports back to me. This waiting time was dreadful but happy that I got my passports back.

Hey Gsohunter, bro we all in the same boat as Fiso85 said. Dont worry this week will be good for all of us. keep on trying canada post app around 4:30pm to 7:30pm as that ll be the time they gonna post our passport

Spread Sheet can show us past and present and so we can judge the probability of our returning of passport but as you said we can share and discuss in this forum and it is very much useful for easing our position.

Congrats kar_thikk, you must have done the happy dance when you saw the passports . More Happy dances to come for those who are waiting including myself. Batchmates don't worry, our PR was approved and we have come this far. I emailed sometime ago and they said they received the passports and they are in the queue to be finalized. So in time we should all have our passports back.

read it carefully it may also say that they might have received it but not opened and associatedto your file yet.
