How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Search for rideshare on kijiji or craiglist u will find many drivers who take u to border lacolle

I have my friend who will take me by CAR and would like to know if he can stay without entering to US near the CANADA border.

Yeah that is possible but lot of ppl miss last turn just before the border gate. You wont
be able to make a U turn if you pass that turn. From what i observed there was a parking lot
with few shops around there where ur friend can wait for u.
So it is better that ur friend keeps his/her documents ready just in case they make a mistake.

Received by CPP Ottawa on 18th Feb @ 7:15 am
Till date No update.
checked tracking number. Still not active for the return mail.
Tomorrow it will be 2 months (60 days) in total ??? :-[ :'(

Sent them email once and all the said yes we got your passport and its in process.
Not sure if anyone here has faced a 2 months delay or more than that?

I have zero hopes......something is wrong and we do not know what it is....

never ever think of calling CIC...it is useless...they do not have any idea and access to our files. particularly Ottawa.

it is our bad luck that we got into Ottawa mess...people who sent passports to New-york and other got with in two weeks...

I will see today and request my MP to check on this...but again he takes 30 days to get back...

I think you are right they might be doing background check if we had any travel history and it was not mentioned on our passports ?

I have updated excel sheet. I really dont know what to say. I am worried at the same time because passport is not an ordinary document. They are just not replying back.

What to do. Should I send another email to OPP?

Guys advise. 2 months today since they received passport.
