How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

I am not sure about you and but my passport got few small trips to countries which we do not mention as they are for one week or two weeks trips....

I am assuming that they wanted to be clear before issuing PR.
but I may be wrong.

but in this forum some one mentioned that packages sent in Feb to till march mid were misplaced and they confirmed they are working on them now..
if this is true we should be hearing in the next week......
if they are doing security checks again...then god knows when we get passports back...

it looks like replying to mails are carried in a round robin...if they reply to your first mail they won't reply to your second unless they are expecting some answers from you.....they only reply once they finish replying others mail....

this is my understanding...but I observed that they in general send templates...not real answers to our queries...

some one said that they are checkng onsites as well to insure tht person is working over there or not. and its been heard that canadian prime minister is saying NO more PNPs and PRs now. so they are checking even after PPR requests

I do not think they will contact your employer at this stage....
when I said security check they might be checking with other agencies regarding your short travel history which you did not mentioned in the application... not employment history...
 
I went to home for month on vacation after submitting my pnp application ? If that is the case it can take upto 3-4 months

Mee too..I went on vacation for a month..and there are short trips on Business...

I am composing a mail to my MP...my MP was not useful so far in my earlier requests..but let me try..

I suggest you also do the same if you are in Canada....that is only our option as of now....

Sorry to contradict you here.. One of my friends after submitting his application, had a month long trip to a "not so friendly" country in North America's point of view. But still got his PP returned in two weeks. I think our passports were misplaced or our files were opened after 3-4 weeks. It's just there is no standard process in place at CPP-O to handle the passports going in there.
 
My passport reached ottawa on March 19, Still no reply....

People who sent passport few days before or after me already received their passport back

I received the standard email about the passport received on this Monday...

Do not know how long still need to wait.

do not be sorry...that is one possibility I was talking I am not sure about that.
I wish your theory is correct mine is wrong....if they have misplaced they will at least processes after they found..

I suggest you all to write an High importance e-mail to your MP....probably at lease we get some answers from any one MP....

Thanks, seems they opened my package on Apr 16, means my passport was in the mailing room for almost one month, and they just spent 3 days to stamp the visa! >:(
