That doesn't sounds right to me. Just do the xray and wait for further correspondence from IRCC. Request the medical reports and xray though.

This is to inform you that your sputum test result is ready and to also remind you about the following pending additional test:
- POST SPUTUM XRAY: post sputum x-rays due after JULY 13TH,2023. Kindly request for your x-ray images in the x-ray room when done. The respiratory specialist will be reviewing your chest x-ray images.
- TB specialist report: A referral letter for the TB specialist will be sent to you today . Please contact the TB specialist (Dr Dania) to schedule an appointment with her. Kindly note that there is a fee attached to the consultation.
A repeat x-ray after the sputum test is standard. The x-ray needs to show no changes or less issues than the first X-ray like scarring, inflammation, etc. That is to ensure that there is nothing else going on with your lungs if you passed the sputum test.
Do as the letter says. The moment you comply with the TB doc, they will send a letter to IRCC that the said applicant had comply and you will also receive a compliant letter.
No worries. All the best. Also a heads up, ask the doc after you have attended the appointment when they will be sending the compliance letter.

I understand i need to apply for study permit for both kids but not sure how to complete the imm1264e which requires their supposed school information. They do not have letter of acceptance yet. Please advise how i can complete the form and what i can upload in place of LOE for my kids.

Hi Taran, the specialist told me I don't need any treatment and that am free she sent me the report which says the tb test and the geneXpert test came back negative..I don't know how to confirm if iom has sent the result to the ircc so as to make it submitted asap..any idea pls
Unfortunately you can't do anything but wait for IRCC to respond. Actually quite frankly it doesn't depend upon them it depends upon IRCC medical panel to assess it. Hope they also agree with them. So what happens is that if IRCC agrees your visa will be issued, no surveillance. Otherwise visa will be issued and you need to undergo surveillance.

The surveillance letter means that once you enter Canada you have to undergo treatment under provincial doc. Make sure you keep this letter handy at the airport. Not sure if they ask for it or not but better to keep it handy along with other docs.
After that once you are settled you have to notify your address to IRCC. IRCC will forward that address to provincial doc. The doc will then contact you as per their wait time. Once the appointment is fixed you have to visit the doc and do test again (xray, blood works and skin test). Once the results are out you will be told if the treatment will be of 6 months or 8 months. You have to follow it. Once completed you will get a treatment done letter from province and IRCC.
