UPDATE: My husband got the call today for his interview on March 26. It's so far away, but at least we got the call, and things are moving. I wish I could go with him, but the timing won't work. So excited!!

Thank you so much! I'm hoping today is the day but not holding my breath
I don't think/hoping it doesn't mean interview list because according to the notes there are no concerns of our case and it states recommended pass... Crossing fingers and hoping it's good news!
I'll keep everyone updated on what happens

Hi, I'm new in this forum, today I checked Immigration web site to see the status of my wife sponsorship and the update say that a decision has been made and a letter has been sent to me on Feb 20th. Our application was received on Nov 19th. 2014 Is that good news? I expected an e-mail, but I might be wrong.

It sounds like an sponsorship approval (SA) as it is being done by mail. Have you received your SA yet? When I log into the CIC website I see two sections, my file and my husbands. Currently one (mine) says Decision Made and the other (his) says application received. This happened around the time my SA was approved and my file was transferred to Havana.

IF IT SAYS DECISION MADE THAT MEANS YOUR FILE WAS ALREADY IN HAVANA AND THEY MADE A DECISION FAST - DID THEY CALL UR WIFE YET?

IF IT SAYS APPLICATION RECIEVED THEN YOU WAIT FOR THE LETER BUT IF IT SAYS DECISION MADE - THEN YOU MIGHT BE AT THE END OF THE JOURNEY MY FRIEND!!!! WHICH IS GREAAATTTTT

1.The first line says Application received the second line 2. It says decision has been made "We sent you a letter on February 20, 2015 about the decision on your application" I haven't called my wife yet because I wanted to see the letter first, also I need some information from the letter to give to my wife to go to Canadian consulate in Habana to change her mobile # that have changed since the application was submited. Is this good? what you think? Gracias

I am just looking at ecas notes on our file and it says under decision made sponsor advised of decision made we will send you in writing of decision made we will send you a permanent resident kit that you will need to send to your relative. Does this mean our wait is over? My hubby has not received a call to take passport to Havana yet . My heart is in over drive here Can anyone explain ?

After the SA is complete the office in Mississauga will send your Wife's Residency application to Havana for processing. If that has already happened then you are well well on your way and your file is processing very quickly.

That sounds like it's just the decision made for you - the sponsor.
It's weird that they mention sending you a permanent resident kit - no idea what that is.

From what I have read 'DECISION MADE' should be GREEN FOR GOOD, RED FOR BAD.

Now, I just checked my status and I'm to far from that point... but for ECAS to be updated that quick on your behalfs that must be good news!!
