Hi

I think AINP should start issuing nominations. They have already got a green signal at the federal level. Here is the link

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-will-maintain-total-immigration-targets-2010-091030.html

But we will have to wait and see!!!!

Canada will maintain its overall target for immigration in 2010, expecting to welcome between 240,000 and 265,000 new immigrants.

US government have been treating immigrants very badly. All new immigrants to Canada should work really hard there in Canada and make Canada even more developed as compared to USA. So that way US government would realize how big mistakes they made by treating immigrant so badly.

One thing is fore sure, Canada will be in very much better situation as this economy is already back on track as compared to USA.

And the question is "Why not Canada will welcome 265,000 new immigrants"? When nix1 landed he had a 20,000 $ Cashiers Check in hand Now think about it from a Canadian government point of view! Any smart country should and will welcome these successful professionals who will become backbone of that country's economy. In this recession time where Banks are complaining that average balance in Canadian's bank account was 2 or 3 digit only!

New to forum- applied under new process: NOC 2171; Application received :around 3/17/2009; File no#21XX received on 08/04/2009; no mails/calls yet!!

i tried sending the documentation to an email id i had

Pnp.Office@gov.ab.ca

But it bounced back

which is the email id where the documentation needs to be send?

~~~ I am laughing when looking at your words.
Can't understand why you think Canadian is so poor? And $20000 is also really nothing. even a bathroom in China is more than $20000 and i don't think people who carry $20000 can be considered as successful professionals.
People who has $500,000 CASH could be considered as "half successful" person and Canada will welcome them by "investment category". People who only have $20,000 is really nothing to this country, since it can only cover you maybe half or one year living cost. Please don't feel too good. at this point, i really understand Canada government.
but if you have a baby or have no jobs, will you just go back your home country to take the benefit? I just want to say, 20k/person is nothing to a country.
Hello Everyone,
I usually do not post much in forum, I read it regularly though.
I want to ask you guys if I should call AINP for the matter I have. I have applied in Jan. Recently, Our company name has changed and we moved to a new location also. So, our phone numbers changed as well. I do not remember that we put company phone number in our application form anywhere.
Should I call them and let them know or may be I should not do anything to keep confusion away.
Thanks in advance,
I think you should definitely update them on the changes, especially that your company name as changed.
Thank you for sharing your timeline, Gautam.
Sadly there were users who enjoyed entering false info into the spreadsheet (Someone actually once entered false timeline using my user ID), so now only certain members (Ell.bee, Manny, and me as well as vsrao and DJ) have access to the spreadsheet and I am helping in entering timelines into AINP tracking system. Once I enter the timelines into the spreadsheet, vsrao finalizes the update so that everyone can see them online.
I have already entered your timeline into the system, so the spreadsheet will be updated by vsrao soon and you will be able to see it. (but vsrao has been busy recently, so it may take a little time.)
And I have a question: Did you apply under old process (with pre-assessment and invitation)? Your file number seems small compared to others with similar application receipt dates, so I thought your initial application reached AINP last year.
Today I Got another email from Roberta Mclean.
They asked me which city you intend to reside.
I promptly replied Calgary, AB .
Lets see what next.
I am a MArch Applicant with file number 2xxx and NOC 2132 Mech Eng.
Thanks
