FSW 2014 - Cairo Visa Office

Well, the CIO blessed us by sending our applications to Embaba VO as they useually send application to the country of origin of the applicant, if the VO is congested they send it to another VO, like other Egyptians colleagues who applied after mid May 2014.

Did anyone get to know why our applications got that extreme luck of being sent to the Cairo visa office ?!

But others who sent their applications on the same dates were not in the same situation and already in Canada now

I was wondering if there's something specifically with our applications ?!
Or maybe we just got the same worker ?!

My understanding is that all applicants of the first half of May (or in other saying, whose PER was in August or early August) were diverted to Cairo Visa Office. It would be very interesting to know that someone else in the same situation actually got processed!!

I think that you are totally right, it is a matter of dates only without any relation to the applicants or your file
they are using the following concept with the people who were ready to apply
"First Come, Last go"

Ironically, there is a probability that next Wednesday will be a day off for the new Hijri year kol sana wento tayyebeeen

Most probably it will be day off, anyhow it is not mentioned on the Canadian embassy website for 2015 Holidays

Guys, I received an update request email.... dated yesterday.... an update for the bank statement and: "Computerized family registration form"... The update is requested to be fulfilled within 15 days... Already started yesterday...

I think, but not sure... still trying to figure that part out "شهادة القيد العائلي المميكنة". Yes, it is good news for all of us I believe. This is a great indication that the Visa Office is operational.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 8, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on July 17, 2014.
3. We transferred your application to the Cairo office on August 14, 2014. The Cairo office may contact you.
