I just got the PER email from CIC, they have provided the UCI, application number and receipt number !
So relieved now!! And my best wishes to everyone here. Don't worry folks, don't lose your patience , you'd ultimately make it!!!

After your file is checked for completeness ( all needed docs and signatures are there) then they review your job,FSW criteria etc and issue a PER or a NER Positive Eligibility Review or a Negative Eligibility Review. Per means your file is good and will be sent to your local Visa Office for processing. A NER means your application had basically been denied :(

Congrats everyone. Wishing you all success.

It looks like a lot of applications with the same NOC were received on the same date and time, by the same officer. I wonder in what order will these applications be processed ;) In case the cap is almost full for the particular NOC, it would be a lottery indeed.

All if you have questions about the Process of applying and getting your Visa, Please see the link below. Also if you have just general questions about the FSW process. PER>>>>CC CHARGES ect.

Thanks islandbabe and others!

So what's next? I know that I haven't yet sent a PCC, so need to do that. But what are the chances of a refusal from this step? What would the VISA office do now? I mean will they evaluate the points again or just check the legitimacy of the application package?

Any comments from seniors are welcome.

Did you send a letter explaining why you didnt attach your PCC or did you just send the application without it?

No explanation needed.

1998...please see my post...just before you posted this question...highlighting the "processing" process. The Vo will do background check and ask for medical also criminality check will be done. Your points are not relevant anymore as they already qualified you. Read the link, its very useful.

Dear Floxzy I definitely would never advise anyone to do that as can be seen from my earlier posts, This applicant has applied already, so I am urging them not to worry ....good things can still happen, its not absolute.

Ok its understood. Sorry.

True, but that can happen only in the busiest days, which won't (most likely) be the case when it comes to facing the limits.
If it happens like that, I'm sure they will simply open the apps and choose whoever they like. Unofficially of course. :)
