ainex, what hospital ka in taif? sana makapunta ka nlng jeddah kse pwede talaga kitang matulungan. i used my friend's account sa ncb and wla namang naging problem. we're planning nga to go there this month celebration ng bday ko. where ka na hospital? baka makadaan ako jan, matulungan kita. ;D

Hello po.. Char, back from Macau & HK naman kami.. Unwind din tska pampalipas araw din para mag-antay. But fortunately, we got an email last Saturday, passport request na po kami. Nakahanap lang ng free wifi spot kahapon after 4 days of not opening our email, tapos pag-check ko, ayun, email from the embassy na.. Iba din pala yung feeling ng hindi everyday nagchecheck, magugulat ka na lang may important message/letter ka na. ;D Yun lang po, we're just really hoping na dirediretso na 'to.. Hay..

wow! happy for u. please post ur timeline so i can compare mine. husband had some additional tests for medicals kaya medyo nadelay ng konti ang sending ng results. thank God oks na sya and at last he was given clearance.

Yan na po yung timeline namin.. Nagtagal lang talaga kami dahil sa FBI clearance. Tapos yung sa medical naman, pinadala ng Nationwide yung sa partner ko April 15 na kasi she had to repeat her xray kasi lordotic daw siya.. Yun lang namang dalawa ang medyo nagpatagal sa application namin, pero other than that, ok naman.

Grabe ang medicals pag may repeats or kailangan pa ng additional tests and clearances noh? Pero buti naman ok na yung sa husband mo.. Passport request na kayo after that, for sure! ;D

Gaano kayang katagal ang visa issuance after the request?

according sa aking notes...hehehehe ....( i tally kasi timelines) around 20 days average for makati embassy to send back passports with visa. cguro natatagalan lang sa mailing. i dont know if there's any way to pick up passports sa embassy?

I just needed to speak out, because I feel so stressed in waiting. I have a booboo in our application, Instead of writing London for Visa Office, I wrote Abu Dhabi(we are working in Dubai)…I just read that there is a case like mine and cio ns sent the document and asked that this info be amended. I know that this is not rejection but am just frustrated with the lost time. anyway, I am just venting out my frustration…hehehe, just needed to express myself so that this bugging feeling will go away and hopefully be replaced with acceptance of that fact. am just waiting for the e-mail confirmation of cio ns, then I have to resend if needed.

You must have sufficient transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or any other obligations. See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp to find out how much you need to have. Clearly state the exact amount in Canadian Dollars, taking into account any financial obligations, and provide documentary evidence. Assets that are not liquid or transferable, such as cars or jewellery, will not be considered.

Wala pa ding nagbabago sa ECAS ko eh.. Pero inemail ko ang embassy last April 26, to check if they really received our medical results, nagreply naman sila the next day, nareceive nga daw nila tapos a week after, we got our passport request.

20 days? Mabilis lang siguro yun.. Lalo na siguro kundi hindi aantayin, kaya nga umalis muna kami last week para makalimutan ng onti, ayun nagkaron naman ng good news pagkauwi namin. Susunod din yung sayo for sure.. Mabilis na lang nga talaga after the medicals.

I don't know of we can pick up the passports personally sa embassy.. May instructions kasi dun sa request na we have to pay a courier fee para mapadala nila satin in one package yung passport w/ visa, PR forms and our original documents we sent to them. Magtatagal nga lang siguro talaga sa mailing and also with the agency that you're working with. Kasi katulad samin, sa kanila babagsak yung passports namin once the embassy grants us the visa (fingers crossed ???), sa kanila namin ibibigay yung passports namin tapos sila na magpapadala nun sa embassy. With the courier fee, sa agency na din kami magbabayad. Hay.. Complicated pa din until the very end noh..
