hi lenavi welcome to the forum!

kelan ka mag 45 days starting from the date of ur 2nd AOR? Puwede mo sila email and ask about the status of ur application, nasa AOR naman na icontact sila in case walang update from them eh..

Re: the draft, i think automatic na pagkakuha mo ng draft eh itratranser sa canada ung payment pero baka hindi na encash ng CIO, NS so wait mo darating un.. mabagal ang postmail eh. or, you can call the CIO office and inform them that u havent received any retured draft yet...

Hi everyone! I just started creating an account here. A friend of mine advised me to read and join this forum. Helpful daw kasi. And true enough just by reading the last 2 pages eh dami na din ako natutunan sa palitan nyo ng advices and experiences :) Kudos to you guys! ;D It's good to know that there are people who help others by sharing their experiences and giving advices, and knowing na may mga kasama ka that also undergoes the anxiety and excitement you are going through... hehehe :D

I am just wondering bakit yung status ng E-CAS ko still remains at RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE... Nalulungkot ako kasi parang walang nangyayari sa application ko. Also, nagdouble payment kasi ako ng bank draft. May tumawag sa akin from Embassy daw. I just forgot the name. Sabi isasauli yung bank draft ko through regular mail kasi nga sobra daw yun. She asked kasi kung nagchange status daw ba ako bakit daw dalawang bank draft sinubmit ko. That was 1st wk ng Feb pa. Until now wala pa akong natatanggap na check. When I had my bank check kung negotiated na ba yung bank draft ko, ang sabi eh natransfer na daw yung funds sa account ng Canadian Embassy... Bakit ganun? I hope someone could help me out on this...

Thanks so much everyone!

It takes a while (a couple of days minsan) for the Embassy to reply. And they actually don't entertain queries or follow ups so much (kahit sabi nila eh contact them directly) ewan ko lang sa experiences ng iba...

your 2nd AOR was last march 27 am i right? POV ko lang ha di ko sure given that there were several holidays due to lenten season and we are all given a maximum of 45 days before we receive the request for med....maybe it is somewhat on the process pa..kasi like me received on the 20th of Jan nagchange ecas ko February midweek tapos yun na yun medical na.like imbubbles and maharlika maybe they could better relate their stories with you.......goodluck welcome...

Thanks so much Bubbles! :)

Naku, kung 45days rin lang eh lagpas na ang application ko dun. 45 calendar day from the date of the email ng immigration is March 13, 2010. 45th working day naman is March 31, 2010.

I have already sent the Embassy an email regarding the status of my application and the bank draft. Ang sabi lang eh naka-queue daw application ko and I just have to wait because they will not respond any further to any correspondence regarding the matter. Di nga sinagot about the bank draft eh. So I tried yung Case-Spacific Enquiry form online to inquire regarding my bank draft. ang sabi lang eh they will notify me of the refund after they have reviewed my application. Ang labo talaga. I have hired an immigration consultant pero they are not very helpful kaya di ko na sila masyado kinakausap. Ayokong lalo mastress sa kanila. :D I decided to wait na lang until may result na yung visa application ko. Kasi baka maka-affect negatively yung pangungulit ko sa application ko... I wonder if anyone have experienced the same concerns that I have right now...

Napansin ko nga yung ibang nasa forum halos kasabay ko nag-apply (nauna lang ako ng few days) pero pinagmedical na sila... Ako hindi pa :( Bakit kaya ganun? Dahil kaya sa profession (NOC)?

Visa Office received my full documents on January 13, 2010 and I received the email from them on January 27, 2010. Sorry. My bad. Tagal na di ba?

naku hindi! hindi sa NOC un kasi pareho tau lahat na PRIORITY (under priority list), pero sabi nila depende sa visa officer mo.. baka nagkataon na ang nakahawak sa case mo eh medyo strict and meticulous, as in xempre review nya lahat. i forgot sino na yn pero in 2 months ata nya nareceive medical niya, kaya cguro depend tlga sa visa officer plus nagkataon daming holodays in netween.. and im afraid medyo nadedelay din sakin :( okay lang maghintay tau basta in the end, by God's grace, eh may visa na darating.. (bigla ako nag goose bumps)

yup! and your welcome! :)

hi to all!

I am on the process of answering pa lang all the questions in the application form, as in wala pa sa first step. If ipapadala ko ba lahat yun, okay lang ba sa letter size envelope or dapat parang folder size? And kailangan na ba ilagay docs like birth cert, nbi, transcript etc? Also, do I have to give my pics and my family's pics eventhough i am applying alone? Pasensya na po sa abala. Salamat sa pagsagot. =p

Hello ainex,

Initial application to CIO-NS need only a copy of the passport bio data page and the application forms including payment (CAD550). Ito lang muna ang kailangan for initial assessment. If your application is further requested to be processed sa visa office then that's the time na kailangan yung mga documents. You can print the forms in the letter size paper and keep inside an envelop that can accomodate the letter size paper.

If you like I can send you the soft copies of the forms and the guide...Just post your email then.

Kindly check the CIC website for the guide especially on how to fill up the forms...

Hi ainex_fracois! Welcome to both of us here sa forum :)

I dunno anong size ng envelope na ginamit ng consultant ko nung pre-lodgement pero hindi pa full documents sinubmit that time I think. Photocopy lang ata ng passport (bio data page) sinubmit dati with the photocopy of the front and back of either TIN / SSS / Red Cross ID, forms (IMM 0008, Schedule 1, Schedule 3, and IMM 5406), and the bank draft (processing fee).

thank you bahrain and lenavi!

So you mean to say I have to send with the forms the bank draft in the envelope? And then, what I should send first is the application form only with a photocopy of my passport or any id? I will not send all those 5/6 forms? Thank you po ulit.

Ainex,

You have to submit the following:

1. IMM0008 - Application for Permanent Residence
2. IMM0008.sch 1 - Background declaration
3. IMM0008.sch 3 - additional family information
4. IMM5620 - fee payment (if by credit card), otherwise, your bank draft
5. Photocopy of your passport bio-data page
6. Two self-addressed mailing labels
7. Document checklist (refer to CIC site), will be the front page in your application

Refer to the link:
