hello po...

recently, i pulled out a certain amount of money in our account where our POF is deposited.
na satisfy parin naman namin yung POF, pero okay lang ba na nabawasan namin and it's no longer the same amount showing in our bank draft? the thing is, our papers are still under the review. will they be so strict on this?

kyle, i asked my agent about that... sabi nya from the time na-submit iyong papers sa visa office hanggang bago kayo aalis dapat complete iyong money... kasi iisipin nila iba ung dineclare mo sa real amount na nandun. but my agent can be wrong.. so anyone?

very minimal amount lang naman...

it was like, if POF is P10...
and i deposited P15 in the bank
i only took P1.50

i felt desperate, i have to pay my tuition fee for my masteral
and i have no one to run to, so there...

i was thinking naman kasi, they won't have an access as to how much is the
"EXACT" amount...

sa nabasa ko before... they use codes...
example... POF in the bank is P650,000 and below
they'll just say lower 6
and if it's P650,000 and above
they say higher 6...

forgot were I read that, but as i far as i remember it was shared by someone who is working in a bank...

so, what can you guys share about that...
(i'm not really sure with the details...)

kyle, it's possible nga kasi i also have seen that somewhere that they will only verify the number of digits.. pero may agent told me to deposit the exact amount.. well, i think u can withdraw some amount basta the remaining balance will the same or a little over than what's required as your "fund" or "money" or settlement fund....

friends, corrent me if im wrong... i am only basing my opinion from what my agent told me..

i don't have an agency/representative...
my consultants are the experienced people in this forum...

thanks for that sharing...

more than enough talaga yung dineposit ko...
kaya ngayon na short ako, dun din ako humugot.
my big mistake was depositing all...

haaayyyyyy...

kyle and imbubbles,
i have read in the manual that if ur POF is lower than the required amount, the embassy cannot reject ur application, instead they will give you sometime to comply wid it. If ur able to do so, they will proceed, if not, thats the only time they'll reject it. There was one member in the othe forums that said his account is where he usually use money to pay for bills, so he would use the money from time to time.he just make sure he doesnt go lower than the required amount. Theres a bit of confusion on my part because were a family of 5.In the official cic website,it is stated that we need 21k + but in the manual there is this updated one which is 23k+. My agent told me to comply wid the 21k but still i chose to have 23k+. My agent also told me that the embassy would base their canadian rate much lower than bank exchange rates. that time embassy gave 43 for 1 cad dollar.

cguro, just as long as we maintain the minimum POF sana okey lang....

One more thing guys, how do u plan to inquire about your status if u cross 45 days? is it through the CASE SPECIFIC INQUIRY section or THE EMAIL ADD PROVIDED IN OUR SECOND AOR? ;) ;)

ANY RESPONSE FROM FORUM MEMBERS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.....

My ecas changed to IN PROCESS last feb 23. 2010. Inside written that they started processing Feb 17. I tried asking my present employer and my maintaining bank if they have recvd any call from the embassy, they answered none at all. My 45 days will be march 13, 2010.

What could be happening?no calls but m 45th day is fast approaching...

thanks

that's a BIGGGG blow of breath!
i'm relieved! thanks char_bonel!
maasahan ka talaga! ;D ;D ;D

i'm planning to return the money i took next week
just to make sure complete parin yung money na dineclare ko sa bank draft...
i can sleep tight now... thanks! :)
