Hello everyone,

Does anybody experienced this? I applied to CIO under FSW and more than a week ago my application payment through credit card has been charged. But until now I didn't receive any notice from CIO either through e-mail or airmail. My question is..Is my application considered approved in CIO? Hope you can help me clarify this matter. Thanks everyone.

I have a question re Proof of fund using a certificate of valuation of land. Kumuha po kami ng certified true copy ng zonal valuation ng land sa BIR, pwede na po ba to? o dapat certificate of market valuation na galing sa munisipyo? Meron po ba sito sa forum na ginamit ang zonal valuation? Ok po ba sa Visa Officer?

Medyo hassle po kumuha ng cert of market valuation of land sa Assessor's office sa munisipyo. Kailangan daw muna magbayad ng arrears ng amelyar bago sila mag-issue ng official market value ng land. Grabe! kaya sa BIR na lang kami kumuha ng zonal valuation. Pwede na po ba ito? Haay, sana po...

i personally believe BIR's assessment is alright though i did not make use of it in my case.

however, both government valuations are conservative as they are mainly used for taxation purposes. if i were u, i would request appraisal from commercial banks for a higher assessment. but if u think the zonal value as determined by the BIR is a big help to ur POF already, then stick with it.

we used the tax declaration tapos pinagawan namin ng affidavit sa lawyer.

bale papagawa ka ng land valuation sa abogado, iaatach mo po yun tax declaration or whatever document na proves na yun yung lot nyo. ito plus bank cets ang naging POF namin. hidi po puro cash.

we actually had the same concern nun nagstart ako sumali dito sa forum. very thankful din ako sa mga nagreply sa posts ko.

i've only worked in the hospital for one year, since then CI na ko, almost 4 years na. pero sabi ng consultancy ko, subcategory ng 3152 ang nurse instructor. sana lang iconsider nila application ko kasi kung yun 1 year lang icoconsider nila, 65 points lang ako. kung pati yun CI experience ko, 71pts. nareceive ng NV yun documents namin nun Sept.8.

Oo nga, 1 week ka lang nauna sa amin. Ang tagal naman ng ppr natin, meron akong nababasa dito na 2 weeks or less may ppr na from med sent. nakakaloka maghintay. halos oras-oras ko nang tini-check yung email ko. sige, update kita pag me natanggap na ako. update mo rin ako ha? pag ppr ka na, for sure, parating na rin yung sa akin...sana.

hi sa inyong mga seniors ko, naku, wag kayo pa stress ah, mag pray tayo ng mag pray para dumating na ang mga hinihintay nating mga stage sa application natin. Inaabangan ko nga ang mga posts ninyo para mag congrats na kami. But then, prayers ang pinaka mainam na panlaban sa stress at anxiety lalo na sa inyong mga naghihintay ng PPR at DM. ;D

Good news for the old applicants like me!

Mas mahirap nang pumasok ng Canada sa ilalim ng Federal Skilled Workers Program ngayon.

Bukod sa point system na kailangan para maging skilled immigrant, dapat nasa listahan din ng in-demand jobs sa Canada ang trabaho mo sa Pilipinas.

Binawasan na rin ngayon ang in-demand jobs sa Canada, mula sa 39 ay 29 na lamang ito ngayon.

Hindi na kailangan ang mga popular na trabaho noon tulad ng accountants, IT personnel, bank at financial managers at iba pa.

In-demand na trabaho ngayon ay mga health workers, chef, restaurant at service managers at mga nasa construction.

Naglagay na rin ng quota ang immigration Canada: 20,000 skilled workers na lamang ang puwedeng bigyan ng permanent resident status kada taon.

Dahil sa quota, limitado na sa unang 1,000 aplikante mula sa iba't ibang bansa ang tatanggapin nila sa bawat trabaho.

Kung hindi aabot, tanging ang pagkakaroon na lamang ng job offer ang pag-asa ng mga skilled workers para makapasok ng Canada.

Obligado na ring kumuha ng English test ang lahat ng aplikante sa skilled workers program.

Sa website ng Citizenship at Immigration Canada, ipinaliwanag ni Immigration Minister Jason Kenney ang dahilan sa likod ng mga pagbabago.

Yeah I know, kasi my visa will expire this NOvember 23 na and I have a pending visa na H1b. Pero sige sa HOuston ako mag papa medicals haha.

I just made an appointment here in Houston, they said they will send it to Ottawa daw via fedex and they don't send it directly to the Philippine embassy. I don't know why wahh. I only have 60 days to send it. I received the letter September 9 and my appointment is September 24.
