general training is ok with the CNO, i did not obtain eligibility. pero eto yung step by step:"

1. log in to cno.org
2. request for an assessment for internationally educated nurses
3. send your assessment for with the payment

assessment will take about 12 weeks to complete.
at the assessment level, you do not need ielts yet. pag may eligibility ka na..

kiko

+1 karma for you KIKO...thanks bro

Hello again!

I just received an email from CRNBC today and they are asking me to complete a Substantially Equivalent Competency in the area of Medical/Surgical Nursing. It will expire 1 year from now. Attached also is a letter of invitation from the assessor to go to Canada to take the exam. Should I include this letter with my full documents?

upp942,

You can try download the forms of the CRNBC, may instructions din dun...i think they require for nurses to have a BSN degree, but I'm not sure. Kasi the forms included are requests for certain documents such as TORs, # of hours you have worked in a certain year to be filled-up by your employers and yung PRC forms.

ipapadala nila yung request for assessment form tru email, expect a reply w/in a week or two.

Kiko, so from RPN dyan puwede after 1-2 years eh magregister/apply for CRNE na agad? o need pa ulit mag-undergo nung assessment that will require us to submit ielts/PRC? july 2011 mag-expire ielts ko eh... i hope puwede pa un kahit now ako magpa-register for PRN if nakapagdecide ako

In our application, nag fill out kami ng forms ulet.

hello again!! did u make any revisions nong nag fill out ulit kayo ng forms? like in my case kc i made minor revisions like i updated the no. of years of education of my kids to include this SY, i updated no. of years worked from less than 1 year to 1 year but less than 2 years and added a membership in an organization for my spouse.... do i need to mention these revisions thru cover letter when i submit my full docs?... thanks again in advance

Hi july4! :) d ko na-follow ung conversations niyo pero i am assuming meron ka revision or updates from application in CIO to full docs in embassy. Correct me if im wrong. Pero if that's the case, just send the updated form with all the new details (you will have to secure another set of forms eh).. then make an affidavit stating the changes. mas better parati mag-attach ng affidavit sa lahat ng changes or errors na nagawa :)

@ July, just update the data in the forms. If only those minor additional details of this school year or membership in an organization (not change of status, or additional child, pregnancy declaration, wrong date of employment or graduation :) ) No need for cover letter. That is according to my agent :D

But it maybe different for Manila VO, so you can follow what imbubbles is advising. :D

Hope to be of help.

guys i received my medical request via post yesterday. doing medicals on monday :D
