habang wala pang sagot si kiko e sasagot muna ako sa tanong mo. kapag may connecting flight ka, normally mag-aantay ka lang sa airport kung gaano katagal man ang itatagal ng pag-antay ng connecting flight mo. worst case scenario at hindi nag-abot ang mga flights mo, either late dumating ang first plane mo or hindi tumuloy ang connecting flight dahil may engine problems or bad weather, sasagutin ng airlines ang board and lodging ng mga pasahero habang nag-aantay ng panibagong connecting flight.

same plan here naka enroll yung eldest child ko so plan namin c bunso muna isama then uwi uli march para kunin yung naiwan... ang worry lang ay bk makahanap ng trabaho at di payagan mag leave

better ipasok mo na application mo sa CNO; matagal pa naman processing nyan... di ka naman siguro cover ng new rates kung yung nasa payment form mo ay old rates pa rin.. BTW all forms ay bar coded kaya ma trace nila kung kailan ka nag request ng application..

sorry for the late reply... nde kasi kami ng connecting flight, talagang ganun yung sched namin... change aircraft lang kami... may layover sa taiwan yung eva air ng 2 1/2 hrs... just enough time for you to eat and look around the airport... wala naman hassle about the balikbayan boxes, basta yung hand carries mo lang yung dadalhin mo.... anong airlines mo ba? mura eva air.. comportable pa.. may mura silang parang business class style called evergreen class, mas ok yun... san ba landing mo? tsaka kelan? hindi pako naghahanap ng work... inuuna muna namin yung sa missis ko, hirap humanap ng doktor... buti yung uncle, tita and pinsan ko nag leave ng 1 week to guide us.. best of luck dude.. and don't be too hard on yourself about the list of accompying goods, pero have it ready just in case kasi samin talaga totally useless... sabi nung custom officer "its with you anyway, so what's the point".... gusto ko nga bigyan ng tip yun eh... hehehe

I just sent my full docs to Manila Visa Office -- July 12 through LBC. They claimed that it will be delivered the following day. As per tracking, the docs were received by Mendoza. When do I expect to receive an acknowledgement from them? will it be through e-mail again? Will they still send the hard copy through snail mail?

Isa pa, magpapadala pa ba CIO ng hard copy ng initial assessment nila o ung e-mail e, un na un? I just attached a print out of the e-mail e.

Thanks. I am happy to finally passed the ball. Nakasubmit na sana kami last month pa kaya lang, with the changes in the VISA Office requirements, nadelay kami.

Here's an account of our experience:
1. We were supposed to submit the original board certificates but since they now demand for the CTCopies, nagpa-DFA muna kami... although we are aware that a notary public may do the certification, we chose the first option kc dito sa amin, secretaries lang nila ang pumipirma... but for the copies of passport pages, notary public na.

2. Work hours per week. Kumpleto na sana certifications, kaso po walang nakadeclare na work hours per week so I had to get documentations to support our claims. Being a part-time college instructor, I had irregular work hours in the first few years depending on the teaching load per semester.

we're of the same NOC code. I submitted full docs on July 1, Manila VO received it July 2. I got my 2nd AOR july 13. I didn't receive hard copy of my 1st aor. Like you, I sent a printed copy of it to the embassy at naabutan din ako ng new set of visa office specific instructions kaya ntagalan din.

the 2nd aor says, I shuould expect further instructions within 90 days. pag wla, i should e-mail them.

san ang target mo to land? any plans of pursuing CMA/CGA/CA designation there?

another round of waiting has just began......

kapag ilang oras lang ang pagitan ng first plane at connecting flight, sila na ang bahala sa mga bagahe mo. pero kapag delayed ang flight for whatever reason at sasagutin nila ang board and lodging mo for the night, kailangan mong i-check out at i-check in uli ang mga bagahe mo (sa airport mo lang gagawin ang check out at check in...hindi mo kailangan, physically, dalin ang mga bagahe mo sa kung saan mang hotel kayo matutulog)

actually, this is my second time to apply for a canadian visa, although the first one is a TWP supposedly which did not materialize because my employer failed to provide some documents.

anyways, hats off to you for your high spirit and faith in God ... continuously lift everything to HIM! God bless you and I'm praying that the cic's next notice will be your medical instruction
