mimi0713: in my case tumawag sila mainly because medyo mataas na position ko sa previous institution na pinagtrabahuan ko...ang maganda lang eh in good standing ako sa HRD supervisor kaya walang naging problema hehe.

lola_basyang: the interview will be almost all about you and your partner. VO's are very careful regarding applications with CLP but if you can strongly prove it and they'll believe your relationship is genuine then there's nothing to worry.

Hello po.

Ask lang po ako ng help please.

Ask ko po sana kung pwede na ba ang marriage certificates ng father in law ko (since my husband is the principal) and nang tito nya na permanent resident ng Canada as proof of relationship with a Canadian? Apart from the Canadian passport and the likes lang po.

Also, how do we get the market appraisal of our mortgaged condo (sa pagibig) and our cars (fully paid)?

Thanks po ;D

pakilinawan lang po hindi ko kasi maintindihan ang current situation mo.

Sorry if my previous post seemed incoherent. Can I restate it in English na lang. ;D Thanks. :D

My husband is the principal applicant. To prove that he has an uncle in Canada, we plan on submitting just the marriage certificates of his dad (my father-in-law) as well as that of his uncle (permanent resident in Canada). The marriage certificates have the names of the parents naman so that can show that my husband's father and uncle are brothers. I dont want to submit their birth certificates from NSO because they have errors in names and I need to reconstitute them first.

You think pwede na yon to prove relationship with a Canadian?

Thanks thanks. I appreciate the attention. ;D

I think that will be ok since a Marriage Certificate is an official document. Include a family tree in your apps for the officer to better appreciate the relationship.

IMO marriage certificates are used to certify a marriage and birth certificates are used to provide linkage to a family or descent. If you'll be presenting marriage certificates as proof of relationship between two or more person, I think it's wise to provide a letter why you're giving them marriage certificates instead of birth certificates. Thus, in the process you are eliminating any doubts that might arise because of your action. This is just my opinion but I did gave the V.O. birth certificates of two of my relatives in Canada and the birth certificate of my father to provide proof including proofs that my two relatives in Canada are actually living there right now.

I may be wrong so let's wait for the others to reply. HTH
