hi magtanong lang ako regarding the required amount of money that you should bring to canada. family of four kami so mga 906k pesos and we have that already my concern is, is it required to bring all 906k to canada? pwede bqa namin gamitin ang portion of the money to pay for the medical exams and plane fares? pls enlighten me. magsasubmit palang kami ng complete docs to manila on monday july 5, 2010.

rene, unfortunately u have to secure that money from the time u submit ur full docs up to the time that u leave the country and land in canada.. u will be denied of entry if your POF is less than what is required. POF is in the form of cash, bank cert, draft, funds, etc. (pls refer to http://cic.gc.ca) But You are not required to carry 906K in cold cash. they will only require u to carry Cnd $3K-10K but you can carry as much as want, but will have to declare it lang..

lola, monitor mo lang ecas mo.. once nag inprocess un malapit na. nareceive sakin march 18, got med request june 22 (dated june2) update mo lang kami ha..

just wanted to ask if yung medical request ba sa post office lang talaga kinu-course thru ng visa office? wala bang naka receive from couriers?

lastly po, sa medical exam, particularly doon sa blood chem, kasama ba ang cholesterol levels, i.e., LDL, HDL at total?

Re: medical, i am not sure if pare-pareho policy ng nationwide pero sa nationwide baguio, d nila sinsabi anong included sa blood test. basta sinabi nila they will get sample of urine for UA, blood for blood tests that will include hepa and HIV testing , among others(at CBC ata), then chest xray

hindi ka pwedeng magpamedical exam before the request from the embassy kasi yun ang ipapakita mo sa clinic. di ka nila allow pag wala yun. may instruction sa medical notice na dapat dalhin mo yung letter from them and sure enough yun ang unang hinanap sa amin nung pumunta kami para magpamedical.

maria, merong designated medical practitioners kaya d puwede kahit saan.. sa letter na mattanggap mo, andun lahat ng list of doctrs/clinics kung saan ka puwede lang magpamedical and hindi ka pwede magpamedical antyime... kaialngan mo muna ung med notice kasi un papakita mo sa DMP
