Yes 6o days lang and I quote the paragraph enclosed in a box:

The information we have requested above must be provided to us within 60 days from the date of this letter. Failure to provide the information within the time indicated may lead to the refusal o your application.

eh hello, d niya sinasabi from when ung 60 days na un! ang t***a talaga. ayoko magsalita ng mas marami pa pero nakakainis eh. kahapon lang nya sanabi na may medical na kami. so from kahapon 60 days? grr. eh malay ko 3 weeks na sa manila office un pluis 1 week shipping

may kahayupan nga iyang consultant mo! Sana man lang e nagbigay pa siya ng ibang info para nakatulong sa iyo.

hello amitaf! congrats! im so happy for u! im so inspired lalo pareho tau ng NOC.

ask ko sana kng engage ka sa public practice. kasi ako full time sa government for 12 years until now, part time sa public practice for 2 years until now. i declared those info in my initial submission.

lito ako kng ano isubmit ko as proof of employment sa public practice ko. i have engagement letters (konti lng clients ko kasi hirap sa oras), but no payslips, contracts of employments.

what do u think?

yes i have been a freelancer for the past 4 years (with previous employment before that).. i didnt have any proof for my work so my consultant adviced me to prepare an affidavit stating the nature of my work , my detailed duties and responsibilites and reasons why i am not able to provide any proof or employment contract for such . then i had it notarized.

so i think the visa officer was satisified with it because i am now at the final stage of my application.

pero you're currently employed w/ the govt, right? so ilagay mo na lang na part time yung nature ng job and because it's freelance work kaya you cannot provide any documents to prove it. it's up to you kung gusto mo pa ilagay. pero kung madami ka na work experience kahit hindi na. in my case kasi, yun ang full time work ko and pangit naman sa application kung jobless ako for the last 4 years so nilagay ko siya.

hi! just an update: i checked my ecas again and it now says:

"We received your application for permanent residence on October 5, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 3, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Manila office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Manila office on December 10, 2009. The Manila office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 12, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. "

wala pa kasi yung last 2 lines kagabi. ;D ;D

Andami changes but in fairness, mas malinaw ang instructions ngaun compared sa dati...

sana nga wag mag slow down ng sobra sa paghihintay ng medical request. til now kasi ecas ko, received by visa office parin.. di na pala nasusunod yung 45days na nasa 2nd aor, as i have read here, 90 days na ata.
