hello guys! ask lng po is there any chance ma waived po sa interview and no need for ielts exam(this apply for the new rules as nsg is 16 points na) i got 55 points w ith out ielts..
yup! their is a chance na ma waived ang interview but most of the time IO requires for interview that is to assess your french language or simply ask some relevant questions...as to regards to your query about omitting IELTS, the answer is NO, you can only omit IELTS if you are Fluent in french..but i suggest you should sit for ielts and french B2...being NURSE applicant doesn't grantee approval of your application...remember marami tayong NURSES na applicante...

hello! nagsearch po ako sa sulit.com at may nakita pa akong ibang schools. meron nga rin akong nakita na mga rough 7k ang bayad for 30 sessions ata iyon pero parang tailored na sya sa iyo, kumbaga, one on one. i needed to increase my level kasi from a2 to b2 in a few months dahil sa biglaang change ng rules, so i inquired. unfortunately, di ko na matandaan yung name ng school. but it's easy to search naman sa sulit and just call them up na lang to inquire. colleges and universities should also have some french na saturday classes din. you can also do some self study. somebody shared in a forum before that they just did self study and was able to get level a2 sa exam. pimsleur ata ginamit nya. ako naman, im doing self study rin using ung book ng afm, yung alter ego plus. it comes with a cd naman pero medyo tyagaan lang kasi hindi english ang ginamit na language of teaching.

as for the exams, i can only speak for delf and tefaq. basically yung delf per level lang. so if you take delf a1 and you successfully pass, a1 diploma lang makukuha mo even if in reality, pang a2 level na pala ang nalalaman mo. yung diploma mo after ng delf exam ay for life na, walang expiration. tsaka pagkakaalam ko sa delf meron syang reading, writing, listening and speaking, so you can get points on all of those. i'm not sure sa afm kung nagrerequire sila ng number of hours to be able to take the delf exams... yung tefaq naman, placement exam yun, tsaka listening and speaking lang yun. the good thing about it is that you can take it at whatever level you are in. so, let's say you just did a1 course formally but you actually did a lot of self-study, you can actually get a result of an a2 level, or b1, or whatever your level is in actuality. i don't think na kelangan mo rin ng minimum no. of course hours to be able to take tefaq. tef naman yung exam na similar sa tefaq pero may reading and writing portions na rin. furthermore, yung requirement sa immigration ay b2 level, so it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to present a1/a2/b1 results or diplomas. :)

Hi! I attended an orientation with Enhance visa services last march and i came across the licensing visa for nurses in quebec where in you have to study for 7 mos and then do a paid internship for 5 mos before graduating and also the quebec skilled worker program where in you can apply as long as you have at least 6 months paid experience. I just graduated last 2012 and am 21 yrs old. I've had experience but only as a volunteer nurse. My parents have been contemplating what is best for me. If i pursue the student visa, i might have a difficult time with studying there since french is really the dominant language in quebec. Although it is the fastest way out, it might not be worth it. If we decide to wait for me to gain paid experience of at least 6 mos. We might not be able to make it until march 2014 because quebec recently released their new policy regarding the 20,000 cap in tbe applicants up until the date mentioned above.

I really need advice on this. Canada has always been my target country. However i dont have relatives there but only family friends so i really have ti be the first one in the family to take the leap. Pls help me! I would really, really appreciate it. Thanks again!

Thanks for your input. Try to apply for student visa first if you can't wait since I heard QSW takes a while like 2-3 years but student visa takes 6 months-1year wait time.

Thanks for the advice! :) That is what i thought too but i am worried it might be too diffcult because some of the nurses who posted online said that in order to work in a hospital your french skills have to be at least intermediate. So im wondering would that requirement also be the same for those applyjng for student visa since i will be studying there (most or some of the lessons might be in french) and working as an intern for 5 mos? Because i have just started learning french and am nowhere near being intermediate. I hope nurses in quebec can give me an advice on this.

;).. hi, i've known few people who don't have experience on their field at all but yet were able to receive their QSW certificate..you can try your luck, just make it sure that you increase your fluency in French (i suggest you enroll to AF in manila) as far as my reading is concern Nurses are still on AOT which can claim 16 points...(student visa is much expensive than applying for QSW) but if you decide to apply for student visa here's the thing: you can apply to VCC in Vancouver TESOL program it will run only for 10 mos the tuition is much lesser than those programs offered by other institutions in Canada, classes are held from 6pm to 8-9pm so you can work part time in the morning. but before you left Philippines apply to LPN in Aberta as the requirements and procedures are much easier compared to other provinces. so by the time you arrived in canada, you can sit for RPNE and if you pass you can find employer in alberta. employment for LPN in Alberta is high therefore your chances of getting hired is high also..

Wow thank you so much for your reply ;D Somehow I thought of already applying for the QSW eventhough I only have less than 6 mos experience, however when I attended the orientation about this from Enhance Agency, they said the minimum requirement for experience for the QSW is at least 6 mos paid experience. So I'm a little confused on this. Pls help me :(

And also, I'm very interested in the VCC in Vancouver and the LPN program in Alberta and I really want to know more about it. Do you know any agency that offers these services? And if not can you give me an online link for these programs? I would highly appreciate it.

Sometimes I feel like I come across as too eager since Im just 21 (with less than 6 mos. experience) and I'v been asking all these questions. But I really want to go to Canada and I guess I just want to be equipped with whatever information I can get a hold of as early as possible. Again, Thank you for replying!! I hope you guys can help me with this. :) :) :)
