I got my GCMS notes a few days ago, according to that, my eligibility and criminality are both passed in April, security info is blank/hidden. I was wondering what takes it so long to finalize my application, maybe there is a security screening? So I raised a web form this week. Got the reply today says:

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:
  • The background verifications are currently valid.
  • The security background verification is currently valid.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.
So everything is passed in Apr and I am still waiting for final approval. Literally don't understand why is that.

AOR- Feb 26
Medical passed- March 5
Biometric -March 13
GU- March 5 after medical passed, no update since
Today I got the following response,

  • Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
  • The responsible office is not currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if you meet the eligibility requirements. We may contact you if additional information is required.
    • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is in process.

We are in the same boat. CEC Inland, I raised webform in April and it said my vo is Edmonton, eligibility is in process, but the vo is changed to Ottawa and eligibility also changed to not started according to the webform in June!!!
Besides, I renewed my work permit in May and was approved within 20 days!!!
(Both are so weird...)

I can see many of you talk about web form but on the page, it says
'we will not respond to your enquiry is within normal processing time.'
Do they still respond to Feb AOR cases?

Yes they do. I’ve enquired 3 times already. People on here have done it hundreds of times

My AOR is 15 Feb 2020. MEP 26 . GU1 on 26 Feb. GU2 on 12 June 2020. My VO is NDVO. FSW-O. When should I expect the PPR mail? Second GU means what?
