I think so. There might be a problem with charging your credit card. Or it might be that your file was misplaced somewhere or your fingerprints were not inside the envelope. But most probably, you cc might not have gone through. Write an email to FBI. They will respond

I don't have anybody in the states to receive my PCC, I am considering using a freight forward address, (a service that provide a us address that receives mail and then redirect it to addresses overseas) do you think would be any issue in using that kind of service. Thanks for your answers.

I think I recall one person on this forum who set himself up with a FedEx account. Then he emailed the FBI and they mailed it to him using that FedEx account. According to their website, they do not do this. However, I know that for this individual they did it recently i.e. 2 months ago. This may not work now, because they seem to say that they have automated the mailings since Jan 12, 2015.

I have no experience of how this freight forward address works. I'm curious if you already submitted your application. If yes, you can email them to change the Mailing Address to this freight forward address. If they do it, then it worked ;D . If they don't then you would know it.

No. You will soon receive a request to submit your PCC. Once it gets closer to the deadline that they give you, request an extension. I do not know of a person who got refused for the extension, and I also know some who got an extension after the extension. So I am sure you will be OK.

One thing to care about is your fingerprints. Sometimes these could be rejected. Did you send multiple fingerprints?? If yes, and they are of good quality, take it easy.

Thanks for the reply. Would you please also advise if the PCC request and medical request have the same timelines. If I ask for PCC extension, would that also mean MR extension. My concern is that in case I have to re apply for FBI PCC, my visa validity would be shortened because I would have already done the medicals.

I don't think MR can be extended. The mail will clearly say you have X days (usually 30 days) to complete the Medicals. pCC time can be extended

Regret my last post... C.c Charged on 20th jan ... But no info abt finger print quality.. May be I will call tomorrow once again.
Regarding delivery .. Same stereo type answer 14-16 weeks + mailing... looks like will get it by end feb ...
VO extension not yet received... Request made thro mail & NDVO CSE 2weeks back.. so far no reply.My deadline ends 11th feb.

I had the same situation and they could not find my app...finally they found it! They received my app on Oct 21....As per my phone call to FBI on Friday, I will get to know my results by the end of coming week. I think you should be able to find if they accepted your fingerprints by Feb 13.

You will get a positive response....Good luck! 8)

Extension wont be a problem.

No need to worry if she has given multiple prints of fingerprints.

She only sent one set only. Does anyone submit additional fingerprint set prior to the opening day of application ? will it be mixed up with the current application

Sending only one finger print is a mistake. I'm curious if she took her fingerprint in the US or outside. If she did it on her own with ink, I think you might have a problem.

opening day of application - I'm sorry I have no clue what you mean here. The day the applications are opened is one day, the day they enter your application form details is another, the day the fingerprints get scanned is a third etc.

I am sorry. I meant if she is resending multiples fingerprints set now. would it be in the new waiting application or it would be matched with the one she sent on 16 Dec, which has not yet been processed. She did the fingerprints set at the US police station. At that time, she did not know that she should send multiples, she did 2 sets , one was sent to Singapore for Singapore PCC and it was fine but when I knew this topic and told her. She was getting skeptical as the waiting time is very long now....

They will not be mixed up. But the new finger prints will have the new waiting time and not be included in the previous finger prints. However I would suggest to drop a mail and ask them what would they do ??

I am looking forward for finger print acceptance.Once its accepted then this wait will be meaningful.(14 weeks over as on today)

I also made a request with NDVO but I have not received the response yet. Same here my 45 days deadline is approaching soon.

I have sent 2 set of fingerprints, one to be dispatched at us relative address, and second one dispatched to home address. My app receive date is oct 27. I have a question:

Will my fingerprints be considered as multiple, if one fingerprint is readable only, result will be sent to both addresses?

For those who have already received the report. Mine was processed on Thursday and they will send this week.
How long does it take between "processed" to "posted" ?
