Hi... Just now called FBI to check on which date they are processing...

As of today they are working on November 5th and 6th cases...

Thats a bit weird. My app from Oct 15th was processed today. Our friend from South Korea said that his app, as for the costumer service, was being processed on 16th when in fact was mailed on 12th. Who understand?

Your application is processed today....which means they are done with all the checks/whatever they need to ....

According to FBI-- They are opening the packets as of Nov 5th and 6th ...which means they will start working on these application ...they will take time for background check and I believe alteast 2 weeks..by the time they can say processed your application.


I hope this is how it works... let me know if there is something else which you know of....

Our fingerprints were readable and the report will be sent next week!!!

Extension wont be a problem.

No need to worry if she has given multiple prints of fingerprints.

My friend has sent her application on 13 Dec 2014 , and received on 16 Dec 2014
CIC only gave here till 15 March. She is asking for an extension. She is really worried now Anyone is also having the same timeline as my friend? Thank you. Pray for all of this will be done soon.

They don't tell you the results over the phone - just if the fingerprints were readable or not. Once you report prints i.e. even before it gets sent, they always tell you this. I have called them multiple times and they never refused this information. The only point where they are iffy is when does the report get mailed. In this regard they are generally wrong.

Have you tried calling them? That's the only way to determine if something was wrong or not

No. You will soon receive a request to submit your PCC. Once it gets closer to the deadline that they give you, request an extension. I do not know of a person who got refused for the extension, and I also know some who got an extension after the extension. So I am sure you will be OK.

One thing to care about is your fingerprints. Sometimes these could be rejected. Did you send multiple fingerprints?? If yes, and they are of good quality, take it easy.

Hello gentlemen,
I don't have anybody in the states to receive my PCC, I am considering using a freight forward address, (a service that provide a us address that receives mail and then redirect it to addresses overseas) do you think would be any issue in using that kind of service. Thanks for your answers.

Processing should be completed in 14 to 16 weeks. Add another week if you are in the US and 2 to 3 weeks if you live abroad for you to receive it
