What good does the new IT system @ FBI office serve, when the waiting time has actually increased by 3 times. Amazing !

12 weeks is a loooong time... I'm not sure how the new system is helping them

Hi all,

Our MR/PCC/RPRF mail received on 11th Nov. NDVO has given 12 weeks for us to submit US PCC in the same mail. (ie before Feb 3rd 2015)

FBI has received application on 27th Oct. 5 weeks over now but yet to charge C.c .

When can I call FBI and start follow up ?

You can hear from them about your report around 27th Feb.It would take at least 2 weeks to reach India. Regarding CC charge. It should happen on the 7th to 8th week.

I called FBI CJIS this noon, regarding the status of my application. My application reached FBI on 9/15. The customer rep did inform that they are currently processing 9/2. So i think Aug applicant's reports are being sent out.

Strange. According to another forum's thread, they were processing 06-oct applications on 21-nov.

Hi nnlice,

What you heard was correct. They were opening requests received on 6th Oct. That does not mean that they are processing 6th Oct.

I called them yesterday. They were opening 7th Oct 2014. That means any request received after 7th Oct, they can not even tell if they have received it or not.

As of 2nd Dec, they were finalizing 2nd sep applications.

Congrats... and thanks for sharing this valuable information....

Guys,

I called them up this afternoon and they are not yet completed my processing. (App. Received Sept 9). They said that they would get it done by next week, but that's when my deadline is (end of the week.)

I already got one extension. I'm almost sure they would mail it to me by the end of next week. This means I would be a few days late. Does any one have a clue if I should ask for a second extension, or simply send the FBI PCC a few days late? How strict are the VO's, particularly CPC-O?

Does anyone have a clue at what point do you know when your fingerprints are OK? I thought that if they could scan it into their system, it was OK. However the lady talking to me could not confirm it. Does anyone have a clue about this matter?

+1 Congratulations!!!! I am curious if you can let us know what is the Search completed date? I thought this was the date they scanned your fingerprints into their system. You are really lucky. I called today, and mine are not ready as yet.

Hi o_o,

I know its a pathetic situation with FBI. Moreover, there's no clarity whether your FP's are accepted or not.

I am not sure of asking for second extension by a month or so. However, not communicating about delay (even for few days) is not what I'd recommend or do. I think best is to communicate your situation to VO and provide details on expected date of FBI PCC.

Haven't seen anyone saying FBI confirmed FP's were accepted. All they say is expect report by xyz date. The actual rejection is also communicated by mail.

I am in same boat as you - very close - Sept 19th received date. Already asked for extension.

Thank you rpishere While the FBI does not communicate clearly if the Finger prints are accepted or not, some folks in this forum seem to have ideas from experience. (For e.g. ''subho1984'' post on pg. 22 of this thread.) Hence my question. Also in addition to the report date, you also get an idea when they put it into the machine (search completed on date).

If my fingerprints are accepted, then I think I can wait. I am already at the end of my extension, so I am a bit hesitant to ask for a second extension.

Thanks again.

today i went to get a state police certificate (NY) .. I got my home country PCC so I am thinking to send these two for the time being and will request to consider this and i will mention that I had 2013 original copy with my main application ..

in no way I will get my FBI report before Feb 2015 hence this will be my last chance .. :(
