FBI PCC

I have been calling FBI for quite some time now and what I understand is that these guys have no clue until the letter is dispatched from FBI. If they are telling you they are processing Sep 8 that means till septemder 7th they have already dispatched the reports . They might have also put September 8th in their system at least 3 -4 days back . But if the finger prints gets rejected they will only be able to tell after the letter being sent out.

Thank you for this information. I really tried to find out from the person I talked to, which date they are processing today, but she wouldn't tell me.

I thought that when they scan the fingerprints into the system, they know if it is accepted or rejected. I thought the rest of the time was involved in searching for matches. I could be wrong though.

I'm sorry I cannot give you a +1 here (168 hours), but this gives me a lot of hope ;D I'm curious if this guy asked about his report after 21st Nov, and they still told him it was in process????

My application was received on October 14th by FBI and so far my cc has not been charged. Is there something wrong with my application or still FBI needs more time to open my envelop??

Today I got an email stating that my application was transferred to Bucharest VO instead of Amman, they asked for FBI report for me and my wife and gave me 60 days to submit the documents, I already emailed my fingerprints to the FBI it supposed to reach today so I will not be able to submit FBI report within the time the VO gave me, what should I do? Any suggestions? I also applied for the state police certificate before 10 days. Do you think they might accept state PCC?
Note: we stayed in the US for 2 days less than 6 months, should I mention that when I contact my VO?

Hi Guys, my request was received by the FBI on Sept 8th and when I called today I was told it was going to be mailed out on the 11th. They wouldn't answer if my fingerprint went thru fine or not, kept saying result will be mailed on the 11th.

This is not too terribly bad, because if I recall correctly, before Thanksgiving they were processing applications received around Oct 8th. (Check the previous pages in this thread.) I think you CC would be charged sometime now. The best way is to call them and ask.

I'm really curious how you could "email" your fingerprints to the FBI?? I did not know this was acceptable.

Anyway, it seems to be taking around 3 months, so I am pretty confident you will not get your FBI PCC in 60 days. Once your clock runs down, around the 45 - 50 day mark, email your VO to ask for an extension. Keep checking this thread, to see when other's before you are getting theirs, so you can get some estimate.

I think they require the FBI PCC, so at least initially, they will not accept the state PCC. If you seriously cannot get the FBI PCC, you may be able to convince them, but initially they will not accept it.

This is bad news for me I'm a day after you on Sept 9th. I called them yesterday, and they had no clue when my application would be processed. I intend to call either this evening or on Monday and update this thread.

Yes I am in NJ. My letter date is 11/25 and search complete date is 11/11. Hope it helps and you get yours soon.

It was a typing mistake I mailed not emailed my finger prints to the fbi

Yeah hopefully you will get it in a week. It's good that you will get it much before the holidays start. Give me +1 if you get it within next 168 hours
