I got the report at my US address today.
Timeline:
application received by FBI: 21st Aug
CC charged: 16th sept
search completed: 4th Nov - need to confirm though
results received: 24th Nov

Vishal
Thats exactly 12 weeks.
So, I should expect results in the next two weeks.

UPDATE!
request received by the FBI - CJIS division: Oct. 6
CC charged: Nov. 24

Another thing you guys, CPC - OTTAWA does extend the deadline for the FBI PCC, just let them know when you expect to receive it.
Best of luck to all of you.

Hello,

Yes it is CPC-Ottawa.

I sent an email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa <CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca> to request an extension to provide the FBI certificate. (Along with my other PCCs, I did send a request in writing to extend my deadline, but they did not get to it.) In this email, I did not provide any evidence other than a link to the FBI website saying that they take 12 weeks. I sent my email on Oct 31 and they responded on Nov 6 i.e. about a week.

Ensure the email is fresh, not a reply of their MR email to you. Within a few mins after you send it, you get an autoresponse. If you get it then your email has been received. The autoresponse says that you need to provide the following information, so when you are sending your request please send this info too.

Surname (Last name) - Exactly as it appears on passport or identity document;
Given name(s) (First name) - Exactly as it appears on passport or identity document;
Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);
Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number; and
Application number (V#, F#, EP#, E#, B#).

FBI is slowing down significantly no work this week, now it is around 14 weeks

Hi,

I sent Minnesota state PCC, in place of FBI PCC and explained them that FBI Clearance will be delayed and if they can consider State PCC. The request and State PCC might have reached today and will let the group know if State PCC was okay to them.
Please let us know what will happen with you, because I also applied for state pcc and will apply for the FBI pcc soon, I hope if they do accept state pcc because it takes only 2 to 3 weeks processing. What is your VO ?
Wish you all the best

today I got email reply for my FBI report issue but they did not give me any extension . they only said that my file has been updated with the information I have provided to them.. that is all. I am not sure when can I get any extension . :((

i sent the email on nov 15th to the address given in the PCC email and got this reply today only.

My timeline for FBI PCC is:
App sent: Nov 21
App received (based on tracking status): Nov 25

How do you guys check if they start working on your app ? How do we check the thing called "search completed" ?

What is wrong with Singapore VO, i only stayed in the US for totally less than 5 months but they still insist me to submit the pcc.

It is long story

First, your application is not trackable till it is charged

After charging, you can check the status in the call center. However they are not giving good response for anything less than 10 weeks, so you may like to lie low for the 10 weeks and call them in the customer care.

currently the procesing time is 12 - 14 weeks.

Search completed date posted in this thread are the feedback received from the applicants who got the report recently.

Aug 22 applicants received the report recently. However some applicants from Sept also reported receiving report though it is illogical.

Thank you, sir. I just hope everythings is going to be fine. I updated my VO about the fact that it takes at least 12 hours to get the pcc via cse but have not got any response from them. In the email asking for requested documents, they only mentioned due dates for MR (30) and RPRF (60) but not explicily mention the due date for pcc. They just said that it usually took 21 working days to get the pcc and as soon as i had received the report i should forward it to them. So I assume there is no exact due day for pcc but you have to submit it so that they can continue processing your app. I hope that is the case, unless there was one whose app was returned because of submitting foreign pcc late.

Anybody from Aug 25th week (25-31) who received their PCC report?
Guys Please shout on this board when you get your PCC. It will help others know which date is currently being processed. Thanks

Sept 15 applicant. Still haven't received the PCC yet

I called FBI CJIS this noon, regarding the status of my application. My application reached FBI on 9/15. The customer rep did inform that they are currently processing 9/2. So i think Aug applicant's reports are being sent out.

Yeah, regardless they will tell 12 weeks earlier date for current processing date. And also give you 12 weeks from application received date as by when to expect report. :(

Hi all,

Our MR/PCC/RPRF mail received on 11th Nov. NDVO has given 12 weeks for us to submit US PCC in the same mail. (ie before Feb 3rd 2015)

FBI has received application on 27th Oct. 5 weeks over now but yet to charge C.c .

When can I call FBI and start follow up ?

What good does the new IT system @ FBI office serve, when the waiting time has actually increased by 3 times. Amazing !
