You must show the minimum amount of funds for your family size or more but there are no points for that.

Unfortunately, you will still be considered as a pre-June 26th applicant because you submitted your initial application on February 2010.

Hi Maaties

I have sent my application under noc 0631 and it has been received at CIO NS Sydney on the 31st march 11.
I have qualified under the 29 categories with 67 points and have sent all documents with Org Ielts And PCC.
I wanted to know that whether my application will be accepted now only or i will have to wait as the total applications received on that date was 860 (a max of 1000 is allowed) as per cic website.
And within what time can i expect my application number or AOR.

Please Reply
Thank You

guys am i still missing something??? ??? :-\ please...

Hi , everyone

I read somewhere that if the pass mark is lower than 67, there is a possibility to send a letter to the belief that you can still be stabilized in Canada. Is this true? And if so , whether the applicant for a work permit may have to write this letter, stating the reasons why it is feasible-or representative must do so on your behalf.
Do you know perhaps if someone got a work permit with the pass mark 60?

Please reply me, because my husband and I are thinking about going to Canada as skilled workers and we are missing points.

What do you think, is it better to wait a year and collect points for years of work experience or to try this as we have.

The Pass Mark is 67. We are not hearing of anyone who is getting a positive evaluation with less than that. You would be further ahead to improve IELTS scores as high as you can and get additional points for work experience to reach 67 before applying. It is costly to put a package together. Best of luck.

Spicysank: I don't think anyone can give you 100% assurance that your application made it in the NOC, but the odds are very good that it did. (Figure approx 8 applications per day as the average has been for the past few weeks. Add another week or so to cover the backlog of 0631 apps that were there in the week before yours that were not yet counted in that 860 number. 926 was the number on 7 April. I wonder if you were one of those?) Your best clue will be when you hear that your fees have been cashed so check credit card/bank for those results. Next, check out the tracker and you will see that some people are getting their PER in as little time as 28 days. Round that up to 40, to be on the safe side, and that may give you some indication of when to look for yours. Good Luck!

Hey Pippin

That was a relief for me. It was great to hear from you.
And i had a talk with the bank. They said they would take a couple of days for checking it and giving a feedback. Do u think it should have been encashed within these 10 days after the 31st march 2011.

Thanks
