Hi all,
I got the ITA and now i am in the process of filling my e-APR. I have a question regarding the PCC, i am originally from Chandigarh but now i am in Bangalore as i am working here. My passport has the home address i.e. Chandigarh. Do i need to get PCC from both the places or just Chandigarh would be fine?

get it from passport office, that will cover for entire country.
if you get a local PCC, then you need a PCC for each and every city you have lived in... best to get PCC from passport office - they dont mention city or town, its quite generic and will cover entire country.

While filling up the application, you should have received a personalized checklist. This checklist has all the details, on the checklist there'll be a help button (clickable question mark) for each line item, I'll take a print of the instructions on the help button as it has all the details for items needed for that line item. Some answeres to your questions:
- Yes ePhoto has to be uploaded at the time of filling for AOR. There's no need to write name, address of photo studio etc. Ignore the last section of the document posted at this link. Specs are here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf
- Yes, you have to mention when the bank account was opened. Most private banks have a set format for this which includes the date when the account was opened. Account opened balance not needed.
- No need to pay RPRF fees upfront, once the time comes, CIC informs to pay the fees.

I am about to submit my PR application tonight. however, I have a small issue. My current POF amounts to 1,582,000 Sri Lankan Rupees, which amounts to almost 13,000 CAD. The requirement is 12,300 CAD.
However, the CAD to LKR rate has been increasing quite rapidly during the past 4-6 weeks. 1 CAD was 115 LKR a month back and now its 121 LKR. and the maximum that it can go in order for me to be in the safe zone is 129 LKR. which I think would in a couple of months.
The only way I can increase my fund is to get another gift from my mother, which would push my application date further by 2 or 3 days. what do you suggest ?

My agents are still saying the EE system will only give me points for 2 years experience. :-(.. I am applying for FSW
My experience is 1.8 years then a year break then 1.7 years. All in same company and NOC. They say 8 months and 7 months cannot be considered since it dont meet a year and system pushes it and take only 2 years since I have a gap.
Anyone with such an experience.. I am getting lots of opinion.. People who had such instances or created Ee profile might know well..please help me clarifying. Thanks

once you submit your PR application and get AOR, your profile freezes.. and whatever information you give them will be based on date of AOR
to give 2 examples
1 - If IELTS is expiring after 10 days, and you submit PR application today - no need to rewrite IELTS as it was valid when you applied.
2 - If you have 2 yrs 11 months experience at time of AOR, and you claim 3 years thinking it will be 3 yrs by the time you get PR - then its not valid since at time of AOR it wasnt 3 yrs

My PR application status got updated to 'Your action is required'. The UCI was assigned and the medical status was changed to 'if you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you'.
There is no ADR mail, message or any such placeholder.
It has been now 4 days since it happened and it is making me concerned now.
Can anyone here can please put some light on the issue?
Is it really a technical glitch and raising a technical issue will get it fixed?

I had sent my university degree and my high school certificate ...so the evaluation came as a professional degree of 5 years university study in dentistry and a secondary school diploma....

Well for that matter i have been recently appraised ( with salary break up) will that work as a proof or do i need to get a separate letter for the same.
Additionally my organisation was under a parent company until April this year but now it is a separate entity. do I need to get the reference letters for both the companies on different letter heads or one would be sufficient with details mentioning the change
letter would be good... but i think that along with pay stubs should be proof enough also.
one letter with latest info is fine... you can mention the breakup of companies in LoE
