The later you do the medicals, the better. Please do not rush. No good comes out of rushing for medicals, IMO. It is a very simple task that can be completed in hours.

I am saying this because you must land in Canada before the medicals expire. Doing medicals as late as possible will fetch you significantly more time than rushing medicals.
Thanks, i didn't know that you have to land in canada before they expire. They are valid for 11 mts rite... so after u get your ITA and you apply and they take say 5 mts to process then you only have 6 mts to land ..

Medicals are valid for 12 months from the date of the exam. You must land before the medicals expires or before your current passport expires (the passport on which the visa is stamped), WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.

Welcome to the forum!

WES is quick from what I hear. Use the below link to understand the process for getting an ECA done from WES -

https://rajtocanada.wordpress.com/2015/07/22/how-to-educational-credential-assessment-from-wes/

If you both have MBA, then (generally), you don't need to get your bachelor's degree assessed.

71/100 makes you eligible for FSW. You now have to complete your IELTS and have your ECA report ready to apply for EE.

The following links will help you how EE works better -

If you have any questions, feel free to post them. Good luck and all the very best!!

Thank you very much rajkamalmohanram for the quick reply. The 71/100 is with the IELTS scores. S 7.5, L 8, R 7, W 7. Is there a chance to get more points if I increase my IELTS?

You already have CLB-9. This will give you maximum possible score. Any improvements in your score again will bring about minimal changes. So, IMO, you need not retake the test.

Your spouse can take IELTS test and can get the ECA done to improve your points even further.

You can use the below link to calculate your CRS points -

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Do check and let me know. Good luck!

L 8.5, R 8, W 7.5 will give you 9 more points. check on CRS calculator also.

Hello,

Can someone please answer my questions?

I would like to create my profile on the Express Entry under FSW, Registered Nurse NOC. I want to know that when you are selecting your NOC, and the requirement on the selected NOC says that "registration with a regulatory body is required in all provinces and territories", what do they mean? Do you have to register with a province before selecting this NOC or because you are just picking this NOC to apply for FSW, you do not need any registration at this point. Even if you do, how is it possible to register as you are not even in Canada?

In short, can you select a NOC code that requires registration with a regulatory body in all provinces and territories that you are not registered with?

Your support will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Canadian Equivalency: Secondary school diploma

In creating EE profile under Education. Should I choose

ECA is valid for 5 years. If you got your ECA done within the past 5 years, you can reuse it. Otherwise, you have to go for a new ECA.
