Hi Guys,

I tried to created my profile twice today, but it is always ineligible. Please help me understand what I'm doing wrong. My details are as below -
Age - 26 = 21 PTS
Education - Bachelor's 4 Years == 21 PTS
IELTS - L-8, R-8.5, W-7.5, S-7.5 == 24 PTS (CLB 9)
Work Ex- 3 yrs 11 months = 11 PTS
Funds - 17,500 CAD for 2

TOTAL POINTS : 68/100

I'm married and my spouse has got his WES evaluation done. However, he is yet to sit for IELTS. Is it mandatory to have his IELTS results before submitting the EE profile?

Please guide.

Thanks!

IETLS for the dependent are not mandatory unless you wish to claim CRS points.

Regarding your profile:

Well let's see:
1 - Do you have a year of continuous full-time work experience in your Primary NOC?
2 - What is your Primary NOC?
3 - How much work experience do you have in such NOC?
4- How many hours per week did you work on such NOC?
5 - Have you assessed your foreign educational credentials (this question is assuming you do not have any Canadian studies).

2 - What is your Primary NOC? 2171
3 - How much work experience do you have in such NOC? 3+ Yrs
4- How many hours per week did you work on such NOC? 8
5 - Have you assessed your foreign educational credentials (this question is assuming you do not have any Canadian studies). Yes, got my ECA report-online version today itself.

IELTS for dependent is only for enhancing CRS points, it does not impact eligibility of the profile. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It does impact eligibility as you can get 5 points under the six selection factors for the dependent's language scores.

Also, you stated you worked 8 hours PER WEEK if such is indeed the case that is why your profile is ineligible. That would barely be a little above a year of full-time work experience and thus you do not meet the required 67 out of 100 points under the six selection factors.

@DelPiero07 OMG.. I think I found what I've been doing wrong. 8 hours is per day. I've been stating it for the complete week. :rolleyes:

I should state 40 Hours per week, right?

Good evening everyone!!
I have a question regarding ECA. I have done one year post graduate certificate program from Toronto Canada in 2015. But due an emergency I had to come back to India in January 2016. I'm planning to apply under FSW program. My question is weather I have to get my ECA done for my Bachelor's degree?

Yes you should, because a post grad certificate on its own does not give you the required points. For you to claim points for 2 or more.... you need to get your bachelor's degree assessed as well.
