Citizenship test was done on 9-Sep-2016 and still waiting for Decision Made.
Seriously it has been that long with no change in status? Have you followed up with them to see what the reason for this long delay is??

Yes I followed up by calling them and got ATIP also.
As per GCMS reports only Prohibition -232 is still in progress other all security clearance passed.

Thanks for the reply. I found out what ATIP & GCMS stand for but what is "Prohibition -232"? What are the other components of security clearance?

Hi everyone,

I had been a student in Canada under study permit for 6 years. I got my PR status on September 2015. I am living in Canada as a permanent resident for approximately 1 year and 7 month.

Do you whether I will be eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship, after Bill C-6 is confirmed, or not?

2.5 months since the test.
They requested FP after test and these were sent end of February.

Still in-process.

It is a waiting game!

I took my test in feb 2017 and DM changed at the end of april 2017. When you click DM there is no change in statements no additional info. So ita taking between 3 days to 3 months for decision made and then about 3 days to 4 weeks for any info about oath (after DM status usually its in 3 weeks). Case to case different and also depends on the office location. Mine is Calgary. And i am still waiting for oath datr.

Also if they ask you for finger printing or any other info then it takes longer usually. If you dont hear for 6 months then we can call them otherwise wait game.

I have been 'In Process ' since Oct 24th, 2016.

I called them after 6 months and all they say is that the application is still within the 12 month timeframe. I've applied in July 2016.
