I saw that a couple people were able to submit their biometrics (inland December), does anyone know how? All the offices are closed in Canada. I'm really hoping this doesn't delay the approval too much...
Service Canada are calling people to make appointments. Not all offices are closed. Some are reopening. I got call and done mine 2 days later.

September 24, 2020—Ottawa—Today, the Honourable Marco E. L. Mendicino, Minister of IRCC, is announcing action to speed up spousal application processing and help families build their lives together in Canada.
IRCC has increased the number of decision makers on spousal applications in Canada by 66%, to process spousal applications more quickly and reduce couples’ wait times.
With these initiatives, IRCC aims to accelerate, prioritize and finalize approximately 6,000 spousal applications each month from October until December 2020

I had a ghosts update on my PR application today.
App received 30th December, 2019,
Medical (upfront) passed on April 28th, 2020
Biometric given January 11th, 2019

Maybe an agent flipped through my file and updated some information

For biometrics, my appointment was pointless since they didn't give me the letter (6+ hour drive to only biometrics location just to be told come back with a letter after IRGC told me to go anyway). Now a week later, i finally get the letter. Do I have to wait for someone to call me again? Or do i need to make the appointment for attempt #2 to give biometrics?

Maybe you should call back that number (Service Canada) since they called you in the first place before you got the letter, for appointment that caused a futile effort you made. Explain your previous experience to them, they will likely reschedule you in.

I have received another request letter today to submit a detailed CV/Resume. Any idea why they might request such a thing? I didn't leave any gaps in my education and employment history for the past 10 years.
