December 2019 Inland Spousal Application (With or Without OWP)

Why is sponsor approval so late in the process instead of early? You would think that they would complete that step first instead of going through all the other steps first.
Application received: Jan 2, 2020
AoR: February 28, 2020
Biometrics Request: June 25 2020 (Updated old Biometric which is valid till 2029)
OWP Approved: July 15, 2020
Medical request received: October 14, 2020.
Note: I have already submitted upfront medical with application.
Please share your opinion and similar experience

Me too I have submited an upfront medical at the begining of september and is has been accepted by IRCC on october 05

A December 2nd applicant has gotten AIP yesterday being Oct.16th, but no SA indicated on the spreadsheet. So IRCC already started approving December. Glad it has come to our month. Praying that GOD blesses everyone of us with goodluck

Thanks for the info. Hopefully we all get good news soon! How are you able to access the spreadsheet? I get an error message anytime I try and open it. Please let me know!

I have a couple of questions.
1. Does anybody know if I move from one province (BC) to another (ON), can it impact the timeline of the application? It's in medical submitted stage right now.
2. How much time does it generally take for IRCC to store the medical results in our file? My doctor submitted the medical results (via email) on Sep 14 but IRCC doesn't have them in file yet. Is it normal?
