My husbands ECAS was updated today:

We sent you a notice on August 12, 2014 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on August 27, 2014 at 9:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

We haven't received the letter yet but it should arrive in the next few days. We're so excited that he's almost done ;D Hopefully everyone will start hearing more information soon!

congraz! everythin finishes in 8 month, quite a speedy process!

Today I passed the test and interview was also very brief. Overall it was great experience.
I got the Oath letters right after the test …
Oath date is 22nd of Aug. Local office Mississauga.

waiting for my oath invitation, wrote test on 7th of july at Hamilton office. anybody here who wrote citizenship test around the same time and waiting for a oath?

Still waiting for my oath invitation. I wrote test on 26 June 2014 at the Ottawa office. Did anybody else who wrote citizenship test around the same time receive the oath invitation?

No, I have not received an RQ. Also I looked on the "Find a citizenship ceremony date" website and the last scheduled ceremony was 14 Aug 2014 in Ottawa.

HI fellow Ottawans gdd486, Ontarioan,

I gave my test on July 22nd. CIC Officer said " we will get back to you in about 2 months regarding the next steps". I am currently waiting to hear from them - I hope it will be an invitation for taking the Oath!

Received my oath invitation in the mail to day. But not updated on ECAS. So happy that it is almost over.
