NEED HELP ??? ::) ??? ::) ??? ::)

I got my PPR request on 29 Oct,2014 and I have sent email request to cic to change my visa office location to Delhi because my wife is in India so will also go there and get it stamped together.

My post secondary work permit is expiring in December 2014. I am thinking to apply for BOWP but rite now I am on Employment insurance because I got laid off from work. I am hoping to get reply from cic soon so I can go india get our visa stamped and come back do our landing then I don't need work permit anymore but if they delay in replying me and my work visa expires do I need to leave Canada in December even though decision is made on my file.

And another question is can I apply for BOWP if I am on employment insurance or I need to have a job or job offer?

Please reply
will really appreciate your guidance. Smiley Smiley

Hi All,
Pro-active question, I have my lawyer's address on the ECAS. I understand when we send the passport then we also send one pre paid Canada post envelop with them. My question is if I mention new address on the return envelop then CIC would send the passport back on the address which is mentioned on the return envelope. Not on the ECAS address. Right?

Thanks...

I got PPR on Nov.4.

Can you read the email again? There's a reason why you need to buy two envelopes.

There is no reason. But is that because I have two applicant on my application. FYI, me and my wife both are in Canada and at same address.

Got it Bro. Clearly I am too excited.

Here this what they mentioned:
If you have a mailing address in Canada: To allow you to track your passports through the mail, we strongly recommend that you purchase two (2) PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes (National), letter-sized (318 x 241 mm), at any Canada Post retail outlet. CPC-Ottawa accepts no responsibility for any passport lost in the mail.

- Complete the mailing label on one envelope showing your mailing address in the “Deliver To” field.

- Keep a tracking number sticker from each envelope.

- Fold and enclose the self-addressed envelope in the other envelope along with your passport(s) and a copy of this request letter.

The return envelope will come to the address that you put on the envelope.
