Hi guys, just wondering if anyone here had to send there fingerprints after sending their application... If so what did you include on the cover page? And did you wait until the requested it from you?

Yes, we already received SA but sent our application with channler fingerprints right after they changed back to not excepting them.. We now have the fbi issued ones

Gotcha. I did this personally I mailed in my corrected FBI check after SA. I did mail it in to CPC-Ottawa with a cover letter including our UCI#, F#, my name, DOB etc everything they ask for in emails. And also explaining why I was mailing it in.

A few months later I ordered my GCMS notes and saw that my FBI check had been attached to my application.

A few days ago (almost a week ago) I emailed Ottawa office and asked them to update my new name to my UCI...my old name is still there. Does anbyone know how long it may take them to update it?

Hello all, I am a newbie first time posting on this form.

submitted my application for family class spouse sponsership on Feb 2.

Applied outland assumed Beijing would be processing our application.

On April 30, I have received my first email from CPC-m stating Mt sponsership application is approved and the application is being forwarded to CPC-Ottawa.

Timing is going to be critical here as my partners post graduation work permit will expire in 14 months while the processing time for CPC- ottawa is currently stating 15 months.

for those applied before me, may you please advise if the 15 months quote is realistic. What should I be expecting down the path? Is there anything I can do to brige her work permit? Can she atleast stay next year when her work permit expires?

Any input would be much appriciated.

Ottawa is NOT taking 15 months, thankfully!

Most people from Ottawa are currently being approved in 8-10 months. Some were approved in 4-7. Ottawa fluctuates, but I haven't seen more than 10-12 mos at MAX.

I would give it a few weeks, it took them 6 weeks to get back to me regarding an email I sent to them, others have had more luck getting almost immediate responses, its a bit of a lottery with Ottawa.

lol that is quite the difference! If someone wasen't patient before starting this process they are def gonna learn how to be! lol

The FBI Check was issued August 2014. CIC received my application Sept 2014.

We're on the London Outland spreadsheet but not the Ottawa one (this is where I';m being processed). Could someone add us?

App recieved - Oct 30th 2014
Sponsor Approval - January 14th 2015

So far it just app recieved and medical results recieved for mine.

Looking at the spreadsheet, it seems like October this year would be a semi realistic projection?

I'm kind of in limbo. I work at a uni so if I knew I would be done by sept/oct, I'd probably opt to quit in summer. If I thought November/December, it would make more sense for me to work through the next semester until Dec. Tough call!

We are trying to get in touch the the Ottawa office to add our new born son to the application, we emailed like they said we should but haven't hear anything in more than a month. We live overseas and therefore cannot call them (right?), any suggestions on how to proceed?
