Yay OTTAWA! My home town BTW Got the passport request and interview waived today, 6 months, 3 days after they received our application. Stage 2 was supposedly in LA, but I doubt it since the PPR came from CPP-O. They are doing something right 8)

Thanks - my wife and I have our Gmail accounts set to automatically forward anything that comes from that address to each other, so I wanted to make sure that's where it would come from! We've also got a draft email queued up with her F number and all of our passport scans attached - we're ready!

Still nothing =( This is the same thing that happened with my sponsors approval, we were one of the last couples to get it. I just hope there's nothing holding things up and that they don't decide to do an interview. Now I'm feeling all nervous =(

I'm not sure because I've always read that it doesn't go by the order you got sponsor approval, but the order it was received. Which makes no sense to me, why would CIC have someone putting all the apps back in order like that. *sigh* I don't know, I hope we both hear something soon =)

I think the officers look at certain files, then grab the ones behind it, thinking "This will freak her out."

Hahaha, you know I think you may have just figured out the problem!

I wouldn't be surprised if they pull stupid stuff like that. Plus, my file weighed...a lot(filled with 8 years worth of our relationship) so it could also be chalked up to laziness, I know I would much rather go through a file that was a 1/4 inch thick rather than one that's almost 4 inches thick haha. who knows, I'm sure I'll get it soon I just need to stay positive and be patient. I got a little over-excited when people from August started getting theirs but in reality I still have a while to go before I should start to worry. I hope. lol

I have been retired for 7 years . We had 6 years of material in our file so it was rather thick too. I'm really pulling for you.

I'm trying! And I've been not working for so long now I feel like I'm retired LOL I cannot wait to start working once I get approved (and I WILL get approved, eventually).
