Oh man, it's like they're just messing with you now. You just have to laugh.

Funny, I thought I'd be LESS anxious now that PPR has come...I don't think I'll be able to fully relax until I'm actually HOLDING the COPR in my hand now. AAAGH!

I was like that. When USPS failed to deliver the express mail envelope ("guaranteed delivery by 3 pm the next day") I was envisioning all the things that could go wrong. It showed up a day late to my company's US office and they then forwarded it to me via FedEx (Saturday delivery!) 3 years, 3 months and 17 days for the entire process from submission of the first application to receipt of the COPR - and landing.

Same here, though I still have another mountain of stuff to deal with after I have it. I somehow have to figure out how to get all of my stuff that I don't trust the mail system with across the continent and then across the border without a car. I know if I ship my guitars they'll get broken and then I would be really sad lol Not to even mention my computer set up that I left at home.
 
can someone ad me to this spreadsheet. Apparantly, my file is now in Ottawa. It was a successful Appeal won in Toronto August 2012.

It was sent to Mex City sitting there collecting dust.

MP tells me the file is in Ottawa awaiting processing (once again)

I dont know who or what to believe anymore ! But I try to stay positive and know in my heart my partner will be with me here soon. :o

When I moved up here in June 2010, I packed everything I wanted to take with me in an ABF ReloCube (like PODS only smaller). My heirloom cedar chest, my guitar, and a bunch of other stuff made it up here and not a thing was broken or scratched!

Shylox--Feel free to PM me about the guitars. My husband is a guitar builder who ships around the world. He prefers USPS Express Mail to any other shipper, and we can give you some advice/hints on shipping. ;)

I just may do that! Because I have 3 electrics and 3 acoustics that I need to get here safely. I'd rather not have to bring them with me one at a time on a plane because that is seriously a pain.

I'm mostly worried because international shipping in the US just went up 58% recently and that is really expensive. :o

That's actually normal now - Ottawa has been picking up successful appeal cases.

Have you ordered case notes? If not, I'd suggest doing so as it will tell you where it is REALLY located.

The appeal time for Toronto is insane.
