I don't know, I think our file thickness might have you beat! Lol... my hubby is a securities auditor, so I can't overstate how perfect we tried to get this file, and it was HUGE.
I hear you guys on the timing, I'm kind of freaking out because I'm going to retire at my job, and I'm trying to time the release of my annual 5 weeks vacation to compensate for the retirement, pack, etc. along with the retirement. My husband is driving down 2300 miles with his truck to haul a Uhaul trailer back with my belongings, OMG!
It looks like the majority are getting the passport request 4-4 1/2 months after sponsorship approval, so I'm anticipating maybe mid to late May for my request. Pulling for you, Shylox!

I'm beginning to think that cic officers like to punish at least one per month. My package was about 5 pounds so I'm afraid mine will be the last one from September.

First time visiting/posting on this site. Just curious to see how our timeline matches to everyone elses. We're getting a little impatient/worries with all the waiting, which I know is normal but I have lost all confidence in CIC when they lost our application the first time. I can't seem to open the CPP-O file, nor am I allowed to send PMs apparently so here are our details
Application to Sponsor sent to CPC-Missisauga, February 3, 2012
Copy of original application re-sent to CPC-Missisauga, June 20, 2012
Copy of original application re-sent to CPC-Missisauga, August 1st, 2012
Sponsorship approved by CPC-Missisauga & sent to CPP-O, August 20th, 2012
Medical requested by CPP-O on October 30th, 2012
Medical received (don't have a date on this one)
According to our MP's office, we've passed all the steps required. All we can do now is wait. I'm just curious how long it normally takes for CPP-O to process a file.
