Big congrats to everyone who's gotten their PPR in the last couple of days. They really seem to be dishing them out right now :D

Congratulations, indeed. May the good news keep flowing.

"what wont kill you will make you stronger'

So true ! Hey, at least I can walk with my head held high knowing we were honest and finished last ! LOL

To think that all is required is a new medical and police report. Where is the compassion ! 8)

Nope, still nothing. But there's still two more days this week! Or maybe next week.

I am very confused right now. I decided to check ecas just for the hell of it and it says this:

We received xxx's application for permanent residence on August 13, 2012.

We started processing xxx's application on February 14, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on xxx's application. The office will contact xxx concerning this decision.

I'm confused because as most of you know, I haven't gotten PPR. So my three conclusions are these:

1: They just used one of my passport copies I sent in with my visa extensions, and I should be happy.
2: It's a rejection, and I should be very very sad.
or 3: ecas is stupid and I should ignore it and not freak out.

Which do you guys think I should do? lol

#3

Or #4 Get some balloons and confetti ready!

I'd say now would be a good time to give the call centre a call. Also some VOs still send things by snail mail. I got my Sponsor Approval from Ottawa (oddly) by mail.

Can't believe they would reject without an interview, so you shouldn't freak out.

Ugh, will be calling them in the AM. I really hope it isn't an interview, or a rejection. :( I also doubt they'd reject without an interview but who knows.

Maybe ecas is just being stupid.

Wouldn't be the first time!

We're all pulling for you, and I hope this means they are about to look at all of the other applicants who got sponsorship approval on October 22! 8)
