For those of you guys who changed your address - did you get a confirmation when the address has been changed in their system?

Submitted my request online 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. Address also hasn't been changed. Wonder if I should follow up soon.

Did you get automatic reply from them? From old threads, it looks like sometimes you get it (right away) and sometimes you don't, but I wanted to check... (I sent the address change request just this afternoon, and I haven't gotten an automatic reply yet (and nothing in the spam folder either.))

I e-mailed Ottawa for an address change and had a reply back in 3 hours, then it was updated in ECAS a few days later.

I'd perhaps give them a call, but it depends what stage your application is at.

Mine is only a couple of weeks after the SA. When did you request yours?

I e-mailed Ottawa a month after SA, and I wrote "Change of Address for Applicant Being Sponsored - UCI # 924XXXXX - App # F0003XXXXX - My Full Name" in the subject line.

I think it's because I e-mailed them at 3 in the morning, so it was just sitting on top or whatever, would be my best guess. I've noticed that most people note that it takes a couple days at least back to hear from them.

They just sent me an email back in a few hours that said they changed my address.

I sent to the Ottawa email address listed in the SA email. I put at the subject line "Address Change Request" and added the other info in the body. I hope I hear back soon but someone said he had been waiting for 2 weeks and another person got it changed in 7 days so maybe it all depends on how busy they are?

Oh you know what? it is Easter weekend and they must have been short of people today?

I was waiting for it twice, in December and January, both times it took over 4 weeks...you can e-mail them, but I wouldn't worry if I was you...

I saw other FSW program at CPP-Ottawa averge passport turn around time its just under 7 days.

My understanding is that there are multiple CPP-O subsections so to speak so don't expect timings to cross over between application types or geographies.
